This review is long overdue as I got my new windows installed back in March. We have an old victorian semi, and the windows were in rough shape in the master bedroom. I probably had 6 or 7 companies come through to give me quotes, and Archie from Sobol was the last one. After meeting him and getting their quote, I knew right away that I'd be going with them. Almost 4 months in, and I couldn't be happier with the work they did.

Our window replacement project went so well that we decided to get Archie to replace our front door too. During the installation they corrected unforeseen defects in the way the previous door had been installed including the absence of a lintel! Excellent value-add and the finished result looks great.

SOBOL is a company I'd be pleased to recommend to anyone. Archie and his friendly, reliable team easily handled the unexpected posed by our 90 yr old home. We're especially pleased with the addition of insulation in the walls around our bay window, a value-add which we didn't expect.

I am very happy with the service provided by Archie and his team. He provided a written quote and itemized all the work that would be done. Everything, including the scheduling, maintenance of tidy work area, end product and followup were handled efficiently and professionally. I will use Sobol Inc again in the future when I need more windows replaced.

I had 5 quotes for our job including three 10 star Homestars window installers and two contractors who neighbours were very happy with. Archie came to measure and give our quote; he was the *only* person who took the time to inspect all the windows, the frames, and to notice variations in measurements between windows in a double-story bay. His price was very competitive; I was actually really surprised! We had his team come first to replace 7 windows (including one massive window) and install a screen door; we liked them so much we had them back a few weeks later to replace the remaining windows in our home and add another screen door. Both times his team finished installing the windows in one day and came back the next to seal from the outside. They were polite, efficient, and professional. Archie was a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this company!

I will definitely hire Sobol again. Archie was great - very knowledgeable and patient during all our last minute changes. I am confident that Archie will always make sure the job is done right. I had another company make the hole in the wall for the window, because they were in doing some other renovations. My only regret is not hiring Sobol to do the entire job of making the hole and installing the window.

I chose Sobol after noticing the work they did on a Victorian home on Grant St a few doors from me in the Queen St East / Broadview neighboerhood area. I also visited a house where they were installing all the windows. Because it was under renovation and unoccupied I was allowed to enter and talk to the installers and was shown different options and how they compared. I was impressed
My windows on the 2nd floor of my Victorian home at 59 Grant St were installed yesterday. Workers arrived on time and did a beautiful installation and left the place spotless. Because theirs was the lowest quote I spent extra checking references since I was not just looking for the lowest bid. The men I dealt with are gentlemen and I am happy to recommend them .

Archie and his crew were professional, courteous, and efficient. They went beyond the normal expectations for this kind of service. The price was excellent and I could not have asked for better service. It was a particularly challenging project and they managed to get it done quickly and with great care. I highly recommend Sobol and I will be calling on them again for future projects.

Archie and his team were fantastic from start to finish in getting new windows and doors for our 60 yr old house. Initially we only had an idea of what we wanted. Without pressure, Archie guided us through the selection process. The install was outstanding. The team is knowledgeable, polite and incredibly diligent. Outstanding experience & great end result.
