Cordano's Custom Renovations

Be aware! Cordano Home Improvements Ltd. Do not trust this person. He took a deposit but never finished his job. I did rely on him to finish his job on time. It never happened. At some point, he took more money and disappeared from the job site. I urgently have to arrange for another contractor to finish his job. I urge everybody NOT to deal with Cordano Home Improvements Ltd. anymore. He put me in a very difficult situation. It's a lesson I've learned the hard way, and it definitely the one that I have to pass on to others.

Stay away from him at all costs. The other negative reviews on this site are very accurate. When he disappeared with our money he left a lot of work undone. He hasn't responded to texts or calls. He was supposed to paint house, install sliding door, redo bathrooms and paint. Refinish hardwood floors etc. Even though we paid him far more than we should have up front he continued to ask for money. Promising he would work on it but rarely showing up. When we started asking for firm dates on projects he claimed we were harassing him. Then he snuck in on a Friday night, took all his tools and hasn't communicated since. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. This is how he left the place and we have to hire new contractors to finish the jobs he started. He even pulled of siding on the house he never replaced.

He kept telling us he was running out of money even though we paid him far more than we should have. Be careful and read the other reviews posted here about him.

Paid Guileano half the money to get supplies. He scratched my steps with stipper & a phone jack cover- left without saying anything. Texted he'd contact me the next day and nothing since then.
I have called- texted- email but no answer.
Seems Jay from Brampton's review (also terrible) has been removed by your people.
I have already contacted the the BBB so you can do what you like.
If you do not post my review I will cease to use your site and will advise my friends & family it cannot be trusted and also discuss with the BBB.

I hired Guileano Cordano to renovate my kitchen. On Day 1, he demolished the kitchen and had the cabinets built by an assistant (for which I paid him), and when he did not show up for work the next day. When he did show up the day after, he asked me to buy a different cabinet door, so I went to the store to get it. When I was out, he texted me that he had to leave because of a “family emergency.” I rushed back home and found it had been left unlocked, and he had cleared out all his stuff, and taken my copy of the contract from my desk drawer. I realized he did not want to continue with the project and did not intend to return the deposit that I had given for the counter top (which we never got to). What I am most shocked about is that he opened my desk drawer and took the contract! I am posting the review only to warn whoever is thinking of hiring him about his unprofessional and unethical behaviour.

Guileano was a great, he explained everything he was doing step by step, he really made us feel secure about his work. Our basement is now livin-in ready...and we are very happy with CCR's services and workmanship. It's hard to find contractors these days that deliver on their word!

Before finishing our basement we had 4 different quotations. We hired Guileano last February,he came out several times to consult on different ideas we had for the basement. He gave us a quote and was able to start immediately. His team was exceptional! They were knowledgable and efficient and our basement looks beautiful. We would happily recommend GC Custom Renovations to anyone.

These guys are absolutely awesome!!!! Always on time, very detail oriented. They finished the job on time. I love love love my kitchen...can't wait to entertain.

These guys are a one stop shop, they can do everything and anything you need done. I've already booked them for my bathroom reno!
