ARTCO CONSTRUCTION

Purchased house in 2006. Was told that everything would be fixed - but they weren't.
Was promissed that ornamental streetlighting would be installed - 6 years later NOTHING.
Was promissed that a retaining wall would be constructed - 6 years later NOTHING
House has settled and most exterior doors don't close, fixtures were the cheapest you could buy at walmart, hardwood flooring is "cottage grade" and needs to be replaced (a neighbour sucessfully sued and had it replaced) - you can actually dent it with a fingernail, excess drywall was crammed into wall cavities, siding and construction waste buried in backyard. We gave up fighting him 4 years ago because of the stress - we just pay out of our pocket to fix the deficiencies.
Terrible experience - never again with him or even someone that looks like him. It was that bad.

some siding blew off my house yesteday and I phoned Artco and got no reply. Very poor when this happens to a 4 year old house. Every one in our 16 house complex has had trouble with the builder an no satisfaction

OVER CHRISTMAS, THE FURNISH STOPPED WORKING. IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER, FREEZING COLD, HE WOULD NOT CALL US BACK. EVEN AFTER CHRISTMAS, LONG PAST NEW YEARS WE WENT WITHOUT HEAT BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT CALL US BACK!!! WE HAD TO FIND THE SUBCONTRACTOR TO INSTALLED THE FURNACE TO FIX IT. WHAT A HORRIBLE COLD EXPERIENCE!
