Dryshield Basement Waterproofing

We hired Dryshield for a crack that the previous home owners decided to hide and ignore (thanks). I am not one to write reviews but this one deserves it. We had the pleasure of having Brian show up and address the problem. Brian is exactly the person you want! He is knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to make sure we were comfortable and confident in the repair.

The job was Done quickly and although the product is a bit messy he still took the time to prep the area and ensure it was left clean and ready for the next step to finish the basement.

We did our research and called a few different companies with a variety of different prices and quality of service however dryshield I would recommend to anyone!

Dry Shield did a great job in waterproofing my foundation walls although they did not clean up after the completion of the job as well as I expected, they were quick to respond and take care of all outstanding issues, despite having been paid in full.
I would most definitely recommend them!

The work took 3 days to complete. The workers were courteous, explaining what they did. They excavated the walls, cleaned and filled cracks, installed a membrane, installed weeping tiles and connected them to the drainage system, back-filled the earth and tamped it down. We were amazed at how they cleaned up after the job was complete. They had placed plastic sheeting on our grass, piled the earth 4 feet high, back-filled the hole, folded up the sheeting, and raked the grass. Neighbours were incredulous that the mound of earth had disappeared without leaving a trace. Great job, well done.

This is the second time I have used Dryshield to dig out a window well and do external waterproofing to prevent leaks. The first was done in 2017 and has been leak-free since then. They are professional, efficient and left the area neat and clean. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Dryshields for a quote on basement water. Jonathan called and set up an appointment and met me 3 hours north of Toronto at our Cottage. He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and provided us with a very competitive quote. Jake and his crew arrived 3 weeks later to complete the work and also repaired a block Foundation crack at no extra charge. This is the second time using Dryshield. They were the first & only one I called after a successful repair using the injection process nine years ago. Right from the time I placed my call for service they was no delay having a representative (Jonathan) come to view the problem. I had two new cracks that showed up only after the worst rainstorm we have had here in the last 22 years. He gave me a competitive quote (in comparison to my cost back in 2011) and I OK'd the service. The repair technician (Andre) was immediately scheduled for a few days later. He was prompt, organized and certainly competent with the work he performed. He was careful to protect my property every step of the way and left no mess other than the sealing solution that ran out of the cracks. There's nothing you can do to prevent that. I had the injection service before and cleanup of the wall when its cured is not difficult.
This Dryshield process works, don't waste your time shopping. You get what you pay for.

For years our basement was getting wet. It started to smell and mold developed. Dry Shield did an excellent job of waterproofing from the outside and removing mold inside.
