Dryshield Basement Waterproofing

I had exterior waterproofing to address moisture on my basement floor and walls. The initial work was done well but did not improve the constant wet patches on the floor. This was not covered by the warranty. So I was relieved and impressed when the company offered to do additional work to address the remaining moisture on the floor at a deep discount-- they were under no obligation to do so.

Unfortunately some discounts are not worth it and after almost a year I have to accept that Dryshield has no interest in doing discounted work for former customers. I have made so many calls, many unreturned, with the repeated promise of ‘when its convenient for the company’ but a year seems a bit much. A change in personnel offered some hope but the new representative on our file was a no-show to an appointment we requested for a new assessment and after the appointment did happen he indicated that he would be back in touch to schedule a plumber to further assess the site- That was three weeks and yet another unreturned phone call ago.

After almost a year I have finally accepted that I am seen as a second rate customer by Dryshield and need to hire another company if I want the project completed.

Great group of guys, came in did the job as expected. They do a great job of trying to save you money. I first called them for exterior waterproofing and even though they offer this they recommended interior since it would save a lot of money.

Mr. Warren came in promptly to assess and provided me with a quote. He was very knowledgeable and honest. His independent professional and sincere advice saved me thousand of dollars. The work team consisted of operations Manager Jake and his technicians Mathew and Shane. They were on time, did a wonderful job and were very courteous. The whole team from sales to execution was wonderful including the customer service guys on the phone. I am so very pleased with this experience. I recommend this company with 10/10 !

I ended up calling up 5 companies. At the end because of the amazing reviews and a very competitive price point, I went with Dryshield.

Roy was our sales rep who always gave us his professional advice and answered all our e-mails/text. I am a worry wart and thus had a ton of questions. Roy always replied within a reasonable time and was super patient with me. Amazing person to connect with.

The men who came to do the work always came bright and early and did the best cleaning job each day.

(REVISED- they called me immediately after and told me they had no control of it as they outsource this job to another company. Thank you for the clarification!) They left the bin of concrete over the weekend and didn't pick up until Monday. Normally would have been fine but it interrupted the work of my other contractors. Called the receptionist Monday and it was immediately dealt with. Secondly, I was expecting the grading of the soil against my wall to be an angle, it looked more like it was just randomly topped (no angle or anything). I guess I will have to regrade myself as it settles in a couple of months.

Overall a pleasure to deal with and would recommend.

Roy came to assess, he was a good communicator, very helpful, he gave me a few options with different price points, pointed out that the longer of the brick walls was old but actually dry and didn't need remediation, just paint (saving 1000's). He proposed a plan for interior damproofing and sump pump for the ugly 110 year old street facing basement wall that had flooded a few winters ago when a city mains burst in the street - if only I'd had it then!
Chris and crew came to carry out the work the following week, adapting to my travel plans. It was a hot sweaty job, they worked hard and efficiently, and they were also very friendly. They cleaned up the site afterwards and arranged for fast removal of the small dumpster less than 24 hrs later.
Even the administrator was friendly and helpful... the company clearly has a great customer service ethos... all in all a good experience.

Found a Crack in the foundation as we started a basement Reno. Called in Dry Shield and they came out in a short time and did the work in under an hour, though they mentioned that they had an extra guy on the crew that day that made it quick to do the job. they review the work with me and were accurate with the amount quoted when called.

Very happy with the service received, they where good to work with and if I ever need Foundation work again (hope that it is not needed) I would call them again in a minute.

We started a basement renovation last week and saw that a crack in the foundation was leaking inside after the rainfall the night before.

"Lucky" for use to find out before finishing the basement. I called around for waterproofing and of the 4 companies I called only DryShield offered the crack injection from the inside. I made the appointment and Peter came today to fix the cracks. His keen eye identified other places that might need to be fixed which we ended up doing as well.

I am very glad we found DryShield to help us out in a timely manner and have no issues recommending them based on my experience.

I recently move from condo to new home(only 5 years old) in Stouffville. My home inspector said I need to do water proofing in my basement and he recommend me a contractor. The contractor said there are cracks, i need to do 2 sides of water proofing and it will cost $8,500. so, i asked my friend and she recommend me 'dry shield' . I write a note on the website and they send me 'Roy'. Roy came down to see my basement and said there is no crack, it's just condensation. All i need to do is just buying dehumudifier. So, i tried what he said and I realised he is right. It was just condensation, nothing wrong with my wall.
I really thanks to Roy "the honest guy". He save me a fortune and gave me a right advice. If i have any problem with my basement in the future I definetaly call Roy the dry shield man. Thanks Roy.

Window well drains were clogged and it flooded our basement. Roy from Dryshields came in quickly for an estimate, he was helpful and honest. After which, they were able to schedule us in promptly (roughly 8days after the estimate). We're so relieved that it's all fixed and even more relieved to know that if anything else happens we know who to call! Basement floodings are super stressful.

Heavy rains Sunday night and a basement reno starting Monday morning. Got up early to check for leaks prior to the reno guys coming. Much to my despair found 5 or 6 new leaks. Of the 3 companies called - 1 could come in a week, 1 never called back. Customer reception at DryShield was friendly and said that Peter the tech would give me a call back shortly. He did and accommodated my needs early the next day. The leaks are patched, my reno continues, disaster averted. Pete is a pro, spotted the cracks / leaks, looked after everything quickly, cleaned up afterwards, was pleasant to deal with and solved my problems yet again. Fairly priced. These are my go-to folks. Highly recommended!
