Worst elevator company to work with
I ordered a residential elevator to Federal elevator a year ago, while we were in the process of ordering they were responsive however after I signed the contract paid the deposit they hided behind emails. the sale person never returned any call. the engineering department send documents that were not matched with their catalogue which caused a lot of delay in the construction process, they never visited the job site to help us to correct any road block in the elevator construction ( actually the were asking for paid visit). they delivered all orders in wrong color and still I'm trying to get that corrected. their technician stop working as soon as they face a challenge or a road blocker. the engineering and sale department do not answer any phone call ( I imagine the service department is the same). Still after a year I do not have a working elevator.
stay away from this company at all cost.

- Company Response
Hi Reza,
We prefer email as communication is captured, stored and time-stamped. As a result, we were able to go back and read the documentation to help us respond to your review. We have been responsive to your needs and visited the site multiple times to help you to bring your hoistway and machine room to the acceptable point where we can install the elevator. If the conditions when we arrive on-site are not as we have consistently communicated, the technician cannot move forward and will leave the site and can only return when the work has been completed.
We are elevator professionals, not construction specialists so we can only provide information on the elevator. If road-blocks are faced due to construction, we guide as best possible but cannot always help as construction and structural is not our expertise. The construction of the hoistway is the responsibly of the homeowner, this is clear from the beginning of our interactions.
The coloured items you purchased had to be retreated as the colour was imperfect. As we mentioned to you in emails, we installed temporary ones, and the pieces are now ready to be installed during your turnover appointment.
We have installed thousands of elevators in our 35-year history. In our professional experience and history, some can be installed in 3 months; some take longer depending on the issues the client faces during construction. We look forward to finalizing your elevator for you.
Regards,
Federal Elevator
