where does one even start...we bought a house and designed our own kitchen, the staff at kents merely determined what products we needed for our layout, all was well only until that point...first they ordered the cabinets in the wrong color,we couldn't and wouldn't accept them, this first red flag was a week before we were to move into our new house,we were forced to move in with NO kitchen as we had already gutted it in preperation for thier install..ok,so things happen right?it takes a couple weeks to get stock from the US...what could anyone do?we spent a ton of money eating out and we waited
unknown to us at the time,Kent's sub installer was booked for a single day to do our install, however when he ran into the 5th day and then wanted to come by on the weekend...i contacted the store manager to have him removed and get someone who could finish it...they sent a competent team the next day who fixed what they could and who were shocked by what they found,in the end they had to reorder a few countertop pieces that were wrong but the original installer was trying to use anyway...which takes more time of course,by the end of the "one day install" it was almost 2 months to the day past the date we had agreed upon for kent to complete the install of a small galley kitchen, about 3 months after we started the process...totally unnacceptable by any standard
staff AND management have been unresponsive and we appear to be getting the brush off and are being ignored in our request for some discount or refund over these ummm ahhh "issues"...we are promised answers that never come,
I have since talked with other contracters we have had in for other jobs and i hear that these kind of problems are not uncommon with Kent...some could even tell me how it went once i started the story, they had apparently heard it a few times before...Use Kent at your own risk.
