Meridian Windows & Doors (Alberta) Inc. No Longer In Business

I just had my windows installed. They worked hard to keep me happy and made sure I was knew the product, how it worked and that the finished product was something I was happy with.

Last year we had several quotes for window replacement which were extremely costly. In June we received a flyer from Meridian and we quickly received a quote for window and door replacement that was far more reasonable with a better quality product (low E, triple pane, krypton gas, R9). The estimated time for installation was 4-6 weeks but they were delivered and installed in less than 4 weeks. Installation took one day and the crew was very professional. I would recommend Meridian to anyone and the windows are Canadian made

Meridian came and took out the existing sliding door and replaced it. I was satisfied at first but then there was an issue with the screen. Several appointments were missed but they did eventually come back to fix the problem so it is fine now. Their work is good but their scheduling could be better. They do have excellent pricing and because the work is good I would recommend them.

We called Meridian for a quote on our two bedroom windows as a neighbor had used them recently and and was pleased with the work. The quote seemed very reasonable and Edward was very helpful and pleasure to deal with. The installation was quick and easy - they had the two windows in and everything cleaned up within 90 minutes. Love the new windows - will call back when we are ready to complete the rest of the house.

Meridian windows and doors are very efficient. An easy to talk to and professional estimator who gives a lot of reasonable options not compromising quality. Installers are punctual, professional, courteous and very good at what they do. Great job Gena, Valentine and Constantine.

Meridian installed 7 new windows in my home recently. I received a phone call from them inquiring as to whether I needed any work done on my home (which I did), and their prices were reasonable so I decided to go with them. When installing the windows, they damaged some of the stucco around my windows frame and didn't repair it (which I wasn't too happy about), and they also failed to put caulking across the tops of the new windows. When I called them to inquire about this, I was told that the tops of the windows didn't need caulking. Not wanting to take any chances, I went ahead and did this myself. The overall service I received was good and they were nice people, but some of the work was a bit sloppy, hence my rating.

From the initial sales visit to the completion of the job Meridian performed flawlessly. They were efficient, courtious and above all professional. They installed an extremely large bay window to the front of the house, explaining the process as necessary along the way so there were no surprises. Not only did the finished product look amazing they even went the extra mile to install better trim around the interior of the window. The guys who installed the window also fixed 2 doors for me that were needing slight adjustment and new hardware that I provided. They were excellent all around...and also a fair bit cheaper than the competition without sacrificing on quality. I highly recommend this company.

The service was perfect -- from the removal of the original windows to the installation of the new ones. I have used this company more than once and so has my father.
