Meridian Windows & Doors (Alberta) Inc. No Longer In Business

I would like to thank Alex Gnatovski (estimation and project supervision) and Ron (installation and site supervision) from the Meridian for helping me with a challenging project of replacing the windows and patio doors all over my house.
Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable; he recommended the best suitable options within my budget saving me time and money. Ron did a very good job as well with great quality often going over scope of the contract to get job done.

I’m not a novice in the trade. I installed myself quite a lot of windows and doors before. I was planning to order windows from a manufacturer and install them by myself; however, once I received a quote from Alex it was no-brainer to let the job done by the Meridian. I would be better off considering money and time spent on the project vs. do it myself.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the Meridian job.

PS Recently I decided to order two doors’ (entrance and back door) replacement from the Meridian. Alex has already taken measurements; we discussed the design and the budget. Looking forward to see my new doors!

SInce last summer I have replaced the whole house 35-years old windows and doors by using Meridian Windows & Doors products. The quality of the material and installation are very good. Last month the frigid low temperature in Calgary did not even have condensation from inside house. We do feel warmer inside the house in the winter and hope the we can feel cooler as well in the summer. Good work Meridian. I shall have this replaced earlier. Thanks.

Got several bids - Edward and MWD were not the lowest but referrals indicated they'd be great - and they were. Excellent product and incredibly great install. They capped all the windows with aluminum which was unexpected. First class workmanship by super nice and competent installers.. We would definitely use them again (and likely will when we do the rest of our 1920's house) and would recommend to others, Awesome prices and fantastic workmanship.

Edward is/was a pleasure to deal with. He took his time and offered advice on design, and made suggestions to best fit our house. We made it clear to him that we would need some time to make our decision and he was very patient. There was no pressure to sign. We will purchase more windows from Edward in the very near future. My only concern was on a weekend (during the holiday season) it was very difficult to get a hold of someone in the office, so that is understandable considering the time of week, and year.

I have replaced some of my windows by two different companies and was satisfied with how they did it to include the quality of their products and workmanship. But when I had these two windows installed by Meridian, I did not expect more than what I had and it really surpassed my expectations after the completion of the project. The quality of the product and the outcome of the installation from inside was superb considering the unique design of the casing which really gave a beautiful reflection of how the window looks like. The guys on the job were knowledgeable and deserve commendation for a job well done.

Very recently we had the windows in our home redone by Ron and his team from Meridian Windows. We are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship they provided and the appearance and quality of windows installed. They were very efficient, polite and friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. A great team of fellows and we would highly recommend them. Edward was our sales rep and explained his products fully and left no questions unanswered. He was very professional and did not pressure in any way. Kudos to Meridian!

Great customer service and workmanship done. A salesman from Meridian Windows and Doors came to our house, explained all kinds of windows, brought samples, then suggested the best ones for our needs. The windows were then custom made. The windows arrived on time, 3 workers worked on replacement all day. Great workmanship, never had any issues or warranty claims. We save a lot of money on gas since the installation of new windows. Highly recommended!!!

Alex and his team replaced all 6 of our ancient aluminum sliding basement windows with modern and efficient PCV sliders. Not only were they fast and accurate in their work, their attention to detail in the finish work was exemplary. The windows look great. The solution Alex came up with on the fly when "Plan A" was not going to work in our bathroom was both innovative and came out better in my opinion than if the first idea had worked out. To me, this shows the great depth of experience Alex and his team has at doing installations and their commitment to a high quality finish. There was an oops along they way, but Alex was quick to point it out and to offer a solution that was both reasonable and fair without having to enter into any hard core negotiations.
