I reached out to Meridian to have a window and door replaced for a customer of mine. They were quick to get an estimator out and the price quoted was reasonable compared to other companies. Once the deposit was paid this was where the communication stopped. I was advised 4-6 weeks from deposit to installation. It took upwards of 8 weeks to get the doors installed and took numerous phone calls to make it happen. On both occasions when I called in to request an invoice, I spoke to people who had no idea what was going on or why I was calling. From the get go I advised that I was not the home owner, but just paying on their behalf. When it came time to book the appt, they continued to call me for the booking instead of the homeowner. They even went as far as asking me to arrange the appointment for them. All in all the experience was not great from my perspective due to poor communication. I also want to point out to anyone that has gotten this far, that Meridian incentivize their clients to leave a 10 star review with the promise of a cheque for $30. Take the reviews with a grain of salt as they may not tell the whole story.

Nobody is perfect, but this customer is really something. I wish we will never have a customer like this. He is not complaining about product. He admits that he initially contacted us to replace window and a door (not being a homeowner at address that needs window replacement - apparently he is faulty at original address -- but we do not know full story of this TELUS guy), but later he complains that we contacted him! He complains that we contacted him to schedule an installation date! I wish people like this call to their own cell phone or his TELUS manager to order service and later call same cell phone and to cry around. Or simply have a fresh breath outside. This peron is never happy and the first guy is to blame - own reflection in the mirror.
