Steve and his guys were amazing to work with. They're easy going and very professional. The first thing I noticed is how considerate they are. They always take off their shoes, lay down sheets where they work, and clean up thoroughly before leaving for the day. Their work is meticulous, and Steve ensures the client is fully satisfied before he packs up the job. We plan to use him again, and we already have recommended him to numerous friends and family. Steve was recommended to us by a family member. We needed our stair case painted so I called and heard back right away. He contacted out Joey from panitastic and I have nothing but great things to say about the both of them. The job was done with attention to detail and we are very happy with the results. Steve came by when it was done to make sure we were happy. We have found our contractors and it is peace of mind knowing they are qualified and they care. Next project - built in's!!

My family decided to renovate our ‘finished’ basement and call Steve based on some of the reviews we read. He came by to discuss the job and right away we seemed very comfortable with him and his professionalism. The job started and, like with any big renovation, there were issues. We found out the wall were not insulated correctly, the wiring was not up to code, etc. Nothing that Steve could have prevented/predicted, but all issues were dealt with in a satisfactory manner. It’s hard enough to find contractors that do a good job and take pride in their work, but finding contractors who respect your wishes and are respectful to your family is even harder. I can honestly say that Steve and his crew (which are all top notch professionals) are not only quality trades people, but continually displayed respect to my family. That’s not easy with 3 dogs and 3 little kids, but they always made accommodations to the dogs and even tried to be quiet during nap time. The quality of work speaks for itself, from the plumber, to the electrician, to the apprentice, to the drywaller, they all do amazing work. I’ll be bugging you again Steve for some more work in the future. Thanks for everything!!

We hired Steve and his team to renovate the kitchen in a 160 year old house we had just purchased. We started discussing with Steve 2 months in advance what we wanted and took him to visit the home. He and his team made drawings, and gave us a price and timeline. Our reno included: levelling the ceiling, installation of pot lights and pendants, completely demo-ing the kitchen, installation of new cabinets including sink and faucets, and the installation of new appliances. Once we got possession, construction started on time, and finished within the timeline we had given him. The kitchen turned out better than we expected and all concerns were taken care of immediately. Once the construction started we added a few extras such as the installation of other lights within the home, installation of washer and dryer in a new place, under cabinet lights etc. All items were quoted before construction and kept within budget

Steve and him team did an impeccable job replacing my standard stair rails which divided my living room and dining room with custom tempered glass panels. Steve is so personable and professional. After contacting a number of contractors, Steve was the only one who followed up with me right away and made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted it. His team also did a great job staining and painting the rest of my stair rails. I am VERY particular about who I choose to work with and I would highly recommend Kampf Contracting to everyone. His team was on time, and when I would come home from work each day, there was no mess. I will definitely be hiring him again for future renos in my home. The reason I have taken so long to write this review is I don't want to share them!

We were referenced to Steve by a neighbor, and the project was to replace carpeting upstairs. Steve was the consummate professional from the very beginning. He consulted with my wife and I, made suggestions which allowed us to make the choices we would be happy with. His crew are extremely professional, self motivated and very outgoing.
The job consisted of 3 bedrooms, 2 walk-in closets, 1 regular closet, the upstairs hallway, as well as the stairs to reach the upper level of the house. During his consult, Steve recognized that we could leave the staircase and railing alone based on the color of the laminate we chose, savings us time and money. The team was also aware of our pets being in the basement, and made sure not to "accidentally" let them out, while this isn't always the case when contractors arrive to your home.
While working on site, his team is aware of their surroundings. Sometimes, only one person is needed for a step in the process, but instead of standing around, his team noticed (and fixed) a scratch in our stairway walls, and two shelving units that were not secure.
One of the crew, who showed up early every day, gave me a recap of where we stood and the plans for the day. I left afterwards, but forgot to put out the recycling - so he took care of it for me. If they were this aware of shelves and recycling, how focused do you think they were on the stuff they were being paid for?
My wife's asthma was a major factor for us to put in laminate, and our house was spotless each and every day.
This team is a special group of people that has the know how to get the job done, but more importantly, they recognize how to see the big picture when someone's house (life) is in uproar.

Kampf contracting completed our basement renovation on time, on budget and at a fair price. We are very happy with the results and have recommended Steve and his tradesmen to several friends and family members. Family room potlights were also well done. Steve's tradesmen were very pleasant and also left our house clean and useable while renovations were being completed. Overall we are very happy with the work completed. Please note the attached pictures are of poor quality (old camera) but give an idea of the work done. We will be definitely using Kampf Contracting for any future work on our house.

Fair price. Excellent workmanship. Excellent work ethic. Managed expectations well. Showed up when expected. Left no mess at the end of each day. Very personable. Worked well with his team, encouraging a relaxed work atmosphere while working hard. Highly recommended.

My garage floor was caving in and starting to cause structural damage. The original floor poured by the builder was well under code at less than 1 inch. Steve and his concrete specialist John, cleared and removed the original concrete flooring. John tied rebar into the foundation and then poured 3.5 inches of cement and smoothed it. John was hard working, neat, efficient and friendly and Steve was very easy to deal with. The solid foundation that John created prevented any further damage from occurring. I would highly recommend Steve and his team.
