We love our new windows and can not believe the difference it has made in keeping our bedrooms warmer & quieter! After having several companies in for quotes; we appreciated Rick's clarity on product & suggestions during his quote visit. The quote itself was very easy to read. The Installation team was friendly & efficient, worked a long day to get all the inside work done & was back the next AM to finish up the last of the outside work. The windows look great and we are very pleased with the decision we made to go with Old West.

I was very impressed with customer service level. With baby on the way, Shauna and Rick made sure our windows were installed before the arrival.
Installation was quick, team was friendly and professional. After the installation the house was spotless, no mess or dust left. Oh, they also were very punctual, which is rare.
Definately will recommend this company to my friends and family.
Lastly, their price was 10% less than competition even after some promos.

The ratings on Homestars for this company are well justified. We needed to have three of our basement windows replaced and Rick from Old West was the only company to actually turn up on site, when he said he would and actually measured the windows. Installation by Kyle and his crew was fantastic, fast and they left the site super clean. A misunderstanding about the scope of the job was cleared up super quick and with great professionalism. The finishing touches on the trim by Cory and Mike were top notch and we noticed an instant warming in the basement once the work was complete. We highly recommend this company - they're responsive, professional and do a superb job. We'll certainly be using them again for some egress windows and a door replacement.

Rick did a great job helping us select the right glass types. Kyle and his installation team were great - they did a great job protecting the house before work started and were efficient and thorough with the install. They found a few factory defects with the windows and put in a warranty work request on our behalf, and even fixed a missing caulking bead on our door (which was not being replaced!) Very happy with their work.

The staff were all excellent from start to finish. We live in Ontario and own the Calgary townhouse where the installation took place, so we had to rely on Old West completely. They came through beautifully.

The frame of the window had been bent by a previous tenant and we were not aware of the damage until winter had set in and the winter winds began to blow through the frame. The sales lady expedited the procurement and installation, and the work was done quickly during one nice day and the installers cleaned up after themselves. Because the threshold was worn and showing signs of decay, they went ahead and replaced it at no extra charge during the installation.

We cannot praise their service enough, especially the sales lady; she communicated clearly and often with us and also stayed in touch with the tenant to ensure a smooth, convenient installation. She was extremely knowledgeable about the technical details and the installation and she clearly answered all question and made excellent suggestions such as the foot lock for security.

We highly recommend them to anyone who needs windows or doors.

Last fall, Old West replaced most of the windows in our home. From start to finish, the process went smoothly and completed on time. The windows look fabulous and the workmanship is superb, and needless to say to house much warmer!! We would not hesitate to recommend Rick and his crew to our closest friends.

Service was second to none. The guys showed up on the day they said they would. We changed 4 windows that day and they stayed late to finish the job. The finish work they did was better than I expected. The triple pane windows have really made a difference to the warmth of our home. We would recommend Old West Windows and Doors to anyone.

Excellent service and products. From the time Rick came to my home and gave me an estimate, to when the guys came and took out the old windows and replaced them with the new ones. On time, courteous, on budget, and I even added a new door to the order after the fact.

We replaced our sliding patio door to our backyard with a swing out French door with interior blinds. We got quotes for the project from two companies and Rick from Old West was so clearly more knowledgable about his products, installation estimates, and cost than the other company that we went with Old West immediately. It took a few months for our door to arrive in stock, but once it did Old West called to schedule an install within a few days. The install was well managed, professional, and our old door was removed and the area was fully cleaned up. They also adjusted our front door to reduce the gap in its frame and put in new weather stripping and a sweep.

We love the new door and we're considering getting our windows replaced by Old West in the coming months. We highly recommend them for any exterior door or window work.
