Very professional from first phone call to follow up letter thanking me for my business. Their fees were clearly set out and I appreciate that they did not charge me the highest fee as they said my ducts did not require that level of service. They could have easily over charged me as I never would have known the difference. I have already refered them to friends and would be happy to continue to do so.

I had found the Duct Cleaning Specialists from the Homestars website. I called to make an appointment with them after our renovations where complete.

Paul Hannah came by and began an inspection of the the work at hand. Paul opened up a variety of different ducts in order to take a closer look.

He shocked me when he told me the ducts where clean as a whistle. He could as easily have connected his hoses to the ducts and proceeded with a pretend cleaning job without me knowing.

Paul is a true professional who is not only knowledgeable but honest. He was ready to leave my place totally happy with not having made a quick profit. He indeed has the long term relationship with his customers in mind.

Finally, Paul was kind enough to drop off some filters for my furnace the next day. As an owner of a small business I love dealing with folks who are service oriented.

I would endorse Paul's services to anyone that needs their ducts cleaned and not having to worry about it.

Paul and his team take the meaning of client service to the level every customer dreams of but only very, very seldom ever gets. Honesty, integrity, friendly, thorough and quality would be some of the words I'd use to describe this team. They behaved just as they said they would on their website and more i.e. took shoes off, did a pre-work inspection, explained everything, turned up on time. The fact that our final bill came in well below the original quote was testament to the fact that they don't do more than you need, and then they also charged us less for the reduced service which is something that also very seldom happens. The worst part about the whole thing is that we don't need our ducts cleaned more often and therefore will miss out on working with such a great team on a more regular basis. You needn't look any further if you want your ducts cleaned - these guys were brilliant.

My wife and I have initially contacted a duct cleaning services from one of the big retail stores. Huge mistake. Very expensive and I had a hunch of very cheap service. For some odd reason Homestars did not pop into my head even though I already used it for such services as house painting (Euromaster Painting) and home inspection (Classic Home Inspection) both provided us with amazing and professional service, twice.

The night before our scheduled appointment with the big retail contractor I looked up duct cleaning services on Homestars and found Paul and his Duct Cleaning Specialists businesses. I called him and hired him that same night. The next morning I cancelled the other service provider.

Paul arrived at the appointed time. Was extremely polite and professional. Did everything as he said he would do. Explained in detail future maintenance issues. Left the house very clean. Highly recommend Paul and his company.

Setup for an appointment to do a full inspection and duct cleaning for a home I recently moved into and a full kitchen renovation. The house was a little dusty and dry.

The guys came on time, were friendly and knowledgeable. The guys spent time explaining what was done and even gave advice on the old humidifier I had.

Will definitely recommend and/or hire their services again for myself and my real estate clients!

Paul was absolutely great to deal with from start to finish. Best way to reach him is by email - he started by giving us a full detailed quote, including information on his certifications. He gave us a few options of when he could do the work (the wait was no more than a week or two), and he showed up when he said he would (actually, he called first to see if he could come a bit earlier than scheduled). Though we had booked his company to do a basic clean, when he arrived he found that our ducts were pretty clean. Instead, he cleaned out the dryer exhaust, replaced the humidifier filter (and showed me how to do it for next time), vacummed out the main air return and opened and looked at the furnace (I wasn't there for this part so I'm not sure if he cleaned in there as well - I think it didn't need it). Instead of charging us the full price for the basic clean, he charged us about 40% LESS than he originally quoted, charging us only for a service call, since he said we really didn't need the full clean of all the ductwork. The invoice came in the mail when he said it would - a day or two after the work was one. Really trustworthy, dependable, honest, and genuinely nice guys to work with. I wish they did more than cleaning ducts, I'd definitely hire them again!

I would definitely call on Paul & Matt again to do work on my house. They were friendly and personable and really took the time to explain everything that was needed to be done. They even took the time to 'make nice' with my dogs :)

They were very thorough, clean and fast! Let's just say my sneezing dogs are no longer sneezing after the ducts were cleaned.

After an extensive reno, we called Paul again to clean out the construction dust and debris from the ducts in our home. His timing was flexible and his service was again very good. He even replaced my humidifier filter which I had neglected to change in over a year. I highly recommend Paul, his professionalism is top notch!

They were extremely professional and personalable It turned out that the vent system was fairly new, so all they needed to do was a basic cleaning and dissinfection. We ended up saving a few bucks because of it. Also, If you are inclined, challenge them to a game of EA hockey and they may knock off 33 percent if you win.

I contacted Paul at the Duct Cleaning Specialists to have him clean out the ducts on my newly built house after reading some of the positive reviews his firm received on Homestars. Paul arrived early on a Saturday morning with his colleague Matt and he quickly started pulling off vent covers to get an idea of what work was required. Unfortunately, we discovered that most of the vent covers on my newly finished hardwood floors were stuck in place by floor stain and urethane and could not be easily lifted without damaging the floor. Paul informed me that the job would be pretty straightforward once the ducts could be accessed since what was in them was mostly large debris (sawdust, wood shavings). Despite the fact that it cost him an hour of his Saturday morning to come to my house, he did not charge me for the service call even though it wasn't his fault we couldn't get at the ducts. I was able to free my vent covers from the floors over the course of the next day or two and Paul kindly slotted me in for a cleaning ahead of my move-in date. He and Matt arrived punctually (again) and did a thorough job, including cleaning up after themselves as they went through the house. They were extremely professional and friendly, up front about what was and was not required and offered some helpful suggestions on how to better maintain my new HVAC system to boot. I was very happy with the job, the service and the price and was delighted with my first experience sourcing a trade through Homestars. Thanks Paul - excellent work!!
