True North Eavestroughing

We have just had new eavestrough installed by John Whyte and his company True North Eavestrough. We booked our installation about two months ago and John was here bright and early the morning the day he said he would be here. They got right to work removing the old eavestrough and fully installed the new eavestrough professionally and without any mess. They cleaned up and were gone within half a day. Professional job by a professional company. Couldn't be happier.

After getting quotes from 4 different contractors for replacing the gutters on my home and my mom's, I selected True North because John was the only one to leave me samples, made a follow-up call to discuss his extremely accurate and detailed quotes. True North was competitive and answered all my questions. This review is for my mom's house. This summer has been challenging for outdoor work and John was great in letting me know when he would be on site. Every detail and changes to the work was explained. The job site was clean after installation and the new eavestroughs look great. True North uses up-to-date hinges, fasteners and joints so I am confident that the new gutters will perform well and remain leak-free at the joints. John is one of the most accommodating and friendly contractor I have met, and I do not hesitate to recommend his company to family and friends.

I requested a quote in August 2013. John came out and provided one. Through procrastination I didn't proceed till this summer. Called John in early August and his team set up the job in two weeks. The one year old quote was honoured, no signature required and no down payment. This transaction was done strictly by word of mouth and a gentleman's agreement. So reassuring. I knew I was in good hands. As for the job, it went flawlessly. The True North crew were neat and tidy leaving no trace of them being there other than the wonderful install of the eavestroughs. It looks marvelous. John provided an unique solution to stop water from entering through the bay windows due to poor installation.

A few years ago John did my daughter's eavestroughing on her home in Ajax. We were so impressed that when I ran into a problem with water under my mobile home, I gave John a call. I had no idea if he did mobile homes or not...and lucky for me he did. What a fabulous job, and a lot of recommendations on what I could do under the trailer to also help with my water problem. I would recommend John's company to anyone. He Is the most honest, reliable person that I have ever met in this business and if anyone in my mobile home park asks me I would be honoured to recommend him. He came on a Saturday and gave me an estimate and on Wednesday everything was done!!! You couldn't ask for anything better.

Had John and his crew over to do my mom's eavestrough and faceboard. John's company is in my opinion the best of the best. Very knowledgeable and customer oriented. Very satisfied with a job well done at a reasonable cost.

After having a new roof installed on my home, I was told by my roofer that I needed new eavestroughs installed in order to fix poorly installed eaves by my builder. From start to finish John and crew were on time and very courteous throughout the process. Love the zip hinges that were installed on the downspouts making them easy to lift up when cutting the grass. Definitely recommend True North Eavestroughing. Well done.
