Bathroom leak - very disappointed
About 1.5-2 years ago I had a plumbing leak from the 2nd floor bathroom tub of my duplex. Anta was called in and found a source of the leak - however once they left there was still water leaking (it turns out that in addition to leak from a burst pipe, there was also an issue with silicone chaulking around the tub perimeter which wasnt identified during the initial plumbing work).
Even at the time the plumber did not seem happy that he had to come back in to rechaulk the silicone - and frankly I thought he did a very rushed and inattentive job; of course there is now another leak due to the silicone seal so I had to go in myself and redo the chaulking correctly - removing all the old silicone and doing a proper job. Needless to say Anta I will not be calling again for any plumbing needs

Thank you for your review. We were able to find you're profile from June 2013 regarding your specific issue: blocked drain causing a leak through the bulkhead lighting downstairs. The technician was able to resolve the issue and stop the leak. 2 months later the technician was called out to solve a leak unrelated to the first one, however, he recaulked your bathroom free of charge. It is recommended that caulking should be replaced, and we believe that the caulking in your bathtub was nearing it's expiration date, which explains why the leak was starting to reoccur. We genuinely not believe that this leak was caused by the lack of professionalism or a rushed job by the plumber. If there is anything we can do to resolve this issue, please send us a message to info@antaplumbing.com.
Thank you,
ANTA Team.
