Red Robin Masonry

Work was completed in May 2021: My neighbor's chimney was crumbling very badly so he mentioned he was going to be using a company called Red Robin. My chimney was showing some deterioration also, even though it was repaired about 10 years prior (the previous company simply mortared around the flue but did not recommend or do an overhanging crown cap so water dripped down the brick overtime and caused deterioration. Ironically, I called that same company back for a quote prior to getting Red Robin's and he owner did not even acknowledge that he should have done an overhang although he recommended it this time around. Just told me the previous work held up pretty well... um, so why are we repairing this a second time around, lol?).

Since my neighbor was doing his also, we figured that we could work out a lower cost by having both jobs at the same time. We got a reasonable price for each house. For my chimney, Red Robin replaced the flue with an overhanging cap (learnt from last time) and added a vent to allow airflow into the closed-off chimney. We are both very happy with our chimneys and job was done quickly and cleanly. They even provided pictures of after the work when we asked for them. Highly recommend this company! John, Anna and Joe were great to deal with.
