Dave made our garage floor gorgeous. Working with Dave was great and the finished product was beautiful. Highly recommended!

I got a referral to Floorlab from another contractor, and I am so glad I did!
Derek polished the newly poured slab in our roughly 500 sq foot basement. He was pleasant throughout our back & forth, though he is clearly very busy. Nice guy & easy to talk to. Obviously takes pride in his work & is very knowledgable about the techniques. He left the job site very clean, and though the polishing was loud, it was not at all dusty or smelly, as I feared it might be. Most importantly, our new floor looks fantastic
Be aware that polishing concrete is a process that reveals what is already present in the slab, so it isn't possible to control completely what you are going to see in the final finish. That said, if you are willing to embrace a bit of randomness, the finished look Floorlab creates is contemporary & sleek, while still organic & full of character at the same time.

Derek and Dave did a beautiful job of our floors. They listened to us and we got exactly what we asked for. The job was done in the amount of time they said it would be. They cleaned up after themselves too. We are all smiles! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, or use them again ourselves. Derek was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. I felt confident hiring him, given his 10 years of experience and excellent reviews on this site. My prior contractors had taken a crack at doing my floors, but that was basically renting a machine and turning one of their guys loose on the floor. The results looked terrible, with swirly tool marks all over the floor. Derek assured me he'd fixed messes like this before, and Floorlab's quoted price was less than the other company I had quote, so I went with them.

I couldn't be happier with the results. It's a night and day difference with the previous botched job. They not only got rid of the tool marks, they evened out a few wavy spots, and repaired a couple of cracks. Derek and Dave were also very careful with the walls and my kitchen cabinetry. My new contractor was very impressed as well. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them to friends, as they were communicative, reliable, did a great job, and were nice guys to work with.

(Note the "after" picture doesn't do the floor justice. I asked for a matte sheen on the sealer, and it came out just as I'd hoped. But you can at least see what they fixed.)

I hired FloorLab to polish my newly poured concrete floor. I had to book them quite far in advance because they were quite busy. They showed up exactly when they said they would and did a fantastic job. There was a small crack in the concrete that they repaired nicely. They also cleaned up a few other bits of concrete at the same time. Great guys to deal with, professional. Great job

Derek and Dave did an amazing job on our office floors. What looked like a hopeless project, turned into a beautiful floor that we absolutely love. They showed up on time and even worked on weekends to squeeze us in. Hire these guys, you won't regret it!

Derek and his colleague finished our basement concrete floors 3 months ago and I have been meaning to write this review for quite sometime as we truly appreciative of Derek and love how awesome our floors turned out.

Our basement apartment was in serious need of an overhaul, after trying in vain to rip up our old linoleum, the previous owners had poured leveling concrete and plaster of paris to even out the basement floor. It was a total mess before Derek and his colleague came by. Luckily for us, Derek said our existing concrete slab was in good condition, and we would get some interesting patterns and colours out of it as there had been tile over top for years (creates a ghosting affect).

100% professional from the initial email all the way through to the end of the project, Derek was punctual, fast and hard working, and very conscientious of dust and mess associated with polishing a concrete floor. It was really cool to peek in after each day and see the progress!

Derek is truly passionate about his work, and the floor he left us with was by far our favourite part of our renovation, the results are astounding and turned out a million times better than we could have imagined.

All of the prospective renters and people that we have shown the apartment to have commented on how amazing and unique the floors look, and we really couldn't be happier.

Thanks Derek, we wish we had more concrete for you to work on!
