IRIS saved me over $5,000. Are you like me, getting multiple roof quotes from multiple roofing companies, unsure of what repairs are truly needed and what’s being added to pad the estimates? I got my roof replaced 6 years ago, it was a shoddy job done by a shoddy roof company that will remain unnamed. Fast forward to 6 years later and I’ve got leaks. I call 3 separate roofing companies, all quotes say to replace the roof and start over, costs ranging $4-$5k. Ok, I need to call my original roofers, but before I do, I need to know what’s really going on with my roof. I found IRIS, and like an angel from heaven they descended upon my roof to give me the facts on what the issue was. Caulking, flashing, minor weaving and I should be golden. I called the old roofers and they came out to fix for free. At least there’s some justice in this world. IRIS once again returned and gave the OK. IRIS saved me $5,000. Are you really going to blindly spend thousands on your roof without calling IRIS? if you are ever in doubt about your roof, do yourself and your wallet a favor and call IRIS.

Mud Monkeys was amazing. From the initial quote through to the guys completing the work. They were fast, professional, curious, and do fantastic work. I would definitely hire Mud Monkeys again to do more work, I mean hopefully I don't need further repairs elsewhere on my foundation, but if I do, i know how to call.

Derek and his colleague finished our basement concrete floors 3 months ago and I have been meaning to write this review for quite sometime as we truly appreciative of Derek and love how awesome our floors turned out. Our basement apartment was in serious need of an overhaul, after trying in vain to rip up our old linoleum, the previous owners had poured leveling concrete and plaster of paris to even out the basement floor. It was a total mess before Derek and his colleague came by. Luckily for us, Derek said our existing concrete slab was in good condition, and we would get some interesting patterns and colours out of it as there had been tile over top for years (creates a ghosting affect). 100% professional from the initial email all the way through to the end of the project, Derek was punctual, fast and hard working, and very conscientious of dust and mess associated with polishing a concrete floor. It was really cool to peek in after each day and see the progress! Derek is truly passionate about his work, and the floor he left us with was by far our favourite part of our renovation, the results are astounding and turned out a million times better than we could have imagined. All of the prospective renters and people that we have shown the apartment to have commented on how amazing and unique the floors look, and we really couldn't be happier. Thanks Derek, we wish we had more concrete for you to work on! Owen & Ruth
