Swat Wildlife and Insulation

Contacted the team at Swat Wildlife on a Friday evening after hearing noises up in my attic for a week. Received a call promptly the next morning and was able to have a team member come out the same day. Jonny was the technician that came out to our home and quickly identified the family of "trash pandas" living in our attic and removed them. The mother left while Swat was on site eliminating the need for a one way door. The babies were kept safe for their mother to find later on that day. We chose to have Swat reinforce all our roof vent caps as that was where the pesky buggers were entering from. Can't thank Jonny and Swat Wildlife enough for their timely intervention and professionalism throughout this entire adventure!

Who do you call when raccoons camp out in your house?? Derek - the raccoon whisperer! Derek clearly explained the process for raccoon removal. 5 babies and a mom later, they helped us reclaim our home!

Johnny first attended at our house back in January, to remove two raccoons who had recently made their den under our back deck. He installed a mesh barrier with a one-way door. He later came back to remove the one-way door and covered that spot with further mesh. When we had a snowfall several days later, we knew that the measures had been successful when we saw two sets of tracks walking to the entry point, pacing around the spot, and then walking away (we like to think) disheartened.

This past week, we called SWAT again to see about removing two birds who had begun to build a nest in one of our exhaust vents. After checking to make sure that no eggs had yet been laid, Johnny removed the nest, and covered the vent with mesh.

On both occasions, we were very pleased with the convenience and responsiveness of SWAT – they were able to schedule both of the attendances at the earliest time that we were available. Johnny was extremely professional, thorough, and efficient.

We would highly recommend SWAT for any of their services; and are especially pleased that they are a humane company.

I reached out to SWAT after enduring a period of several days of racket in our attic; a ‘bigger than a mouse, smaller than a bear racket.’ Covering the bases, I sent a message via their webpage and left a message on their answering machine; I did get called back promptly, a bit later that morning.

The earliest appointment was about 48 hours after my call; so not too bad; their appointments were positioned as a 2 hour window. The individual who called back was helpful in terms of identifying the base price, as well as discussing something of a range of possibilities and the costs potentially associated with those.

The tech showed up about 2/3 through the indicated appointment window, friendly, courteous and professional. The base rate included an exploration of the attic (no animals were apparent at the time), a climb onto the roof for a good look around, and a visual inspection of the soffits from ground level. An entry point was found in a compromised vent, which was secured. A one-way door was installed as a precaution against the possibility that some critter hadn’t revealed itself and remained in the attic.

Not wanting to host a ‘rodent rave’ over my head again, I opted to have the other vents reinforced as well, at what appeared to be a fair cost.

The whole thing took less than 2 hours.

I suppose time will be the final judge, but so far so good.
Bottom line, I’d use SWAT again.

Thinking there were critters in the attic I called SWAT Wildlife to come and take a look. They have a humane approach to dealing with animals that I liked and their response time was very fast - next day service. They came on-time, were courteous and professional, and I was able to to learn more about my attic and roof. Would definitely call again if needed!

I received excellent service from Swat. They arrived about one hour after my initial call, removed the raccoon from my roof and finished their work quickly, which included installing some barriers on the down spouts. Great service. Nice people. Use them.

SWAT has helped me on two different occassions with issues, first was raccoons in the attic and the second time was mice! They were prompt, thorough in their explanations of what was happening, and friendly.
Would definitely recommend them for and wildlife/rodent problems.

We heard movement and scratching around in our attic and called SWAT Wildlife to come and check it out. They were extremely professional, efficient and courteous. They came and did a thorough assessment of the roof and attic and put a one-way door on one of the roof vents and mesh caging on the other vents. They came back about a week later to remove the one-way door and replace that with mesh caging to prevent other unwanted visitors. Their removal services are humane and we haven't heard anybody up in our attic ever since. Thank you!!! We wouldn't hesitate to call them again if we have other issues and would highly recommend them to others.

I have the dubious honour of having had to use SWAT wildlife twice. The first time raccoons and skunks had been seen by the neighbours heading under our front porch. I called SWAT on a Friday and someone came out on the Saturday looked at the area and resolved the issue in a humane manner (put in an escape gate for wildlife that was removed a week later when they had moved out).

The second time was much more difficult. Some raccoons were taking up residence in some pretty inaccessible areas under our back porch and the rear of our neighbours house. This ended up requiring three trips by the team at SWAT (they had to assess); a senior person came back and explained the options which required me getting some approvals from my neighbours. Finally they were able to do the work.

On both occasions everyone I dealt with was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. No hesitation recommending them.

This company was recommended to me by a contractor, whom I trust, so I contacted them, and the next day the technician arrived, very reassuring and seemingly knowledgeable, who thoroughly examined the roof and soffit and determined the point of entry. He sealed a potential site and installed the "trap" which allows exit, but not re-entry. A proposal was made to attached a wire mesh between my neighbour's property and mine, a narrow space that could be an issue, so once I received permission from my neighbour, the tech promptly returned the following day to expertly seal it up and the effect is virtually undetectable. My neighbour was also pleased with the solution and the workmanship. One more visit ensued within a couple of days to ensure that the squirrels were indeed gone/barricaded. I love a happy ending
