Gerry and his company renovated our whole home. He put in three skylights,two bathrooms, and renovated our kitchen as well. We are still using him to finish a deck. I am disabled, and he frequently helped me out by picking up medications for me, and once, he even took me to the doctor.I found as long as I understood delays that were not his fault, such as a jacuzi bathtub he installed, that turned out to have a manufacturers default,he ended up picking up a new one and installing it at no extra cost to me.Also we ordered a special sink for the kitchen, it took 6 weeks to arrive,but as this was our decision, not Mr Larocque's we understood it was out of his control.We also ordered an exterior hot tub- we got a great deal but it took 3 months to be built and delivered from the States.However the day it arrived Gerry and four of his workers worked 15 hours non-stop to intall it.The three skylights have survived two severe winters without leaking, in fact all his work in out home has been excellent.We are still using him for future improvements, and I think that says it all, for if we were unhappy with his work we would not be doing so.Our downstairs toilet has backed up and this is due to tree roots growing from a city tree on our lawn,and he brought in a huge snake and fixed the problem at no charge to us.I could not recomend a company or a contracter more highly.

Made the fatal mistake of not asking for or checking references. Job began in November of 2008. As of mid-March it may be 75% done. Have pulled job from him and will have someone else finish it. A couple of things may need to be re-done. Constantly had to follow-up with him on everything. He showed up to work about 30% of the time he promised he would be here. Final straw came when he failed to deal with a supplier who provided poorly custom made cabinets - a supplier he recommended. Discovered part of the problem was he had not paid this supplier for any materials - despite the fact we had given him money weeks ago for the materials. Don't be fooled. He'll tell you he is a perfectionist and that he looks after his customers but some get mad at him for no reason. He'll show you pictures of bathrooms he has done but we now suspect they are just pictures taken from bath store web-sites.
