What A Pane Inc. (Door Inserts)

A large window in our back door got broken on a Friday night of a long weekend and we needed a new one as quickly as possible. Neil was excellent to deal with and got back to me quickly on the weekend. I called about 10 other places and most didn't return my calls until the following Tues. Neil came to my house on the holiday monday and his quote was very reasonable, and less than another company's quote over the phone. The window was about 6.5x2 ft and had to be custom made. They had it cut and installed within a week (another company said it could take 1-2 months). They were great to deal with, very responsive, and I would use them again for any window needs.

Barry was most helpful, he came over to measure and few days later came to change the glass inserts in our front door, it was smooth sailing , looks lovely ,hassle free , would recommend for sure.

What a wonderful job they did! They helped me select beautiful glass inserts for two doors, then installed both inside 2 hours. The workmanship is stellar, they were punctual, helpful and quick. Interestingly, I was referred to "What a Pane" through another window company who does not install glass panes inside existing doors. It saved me a lot of money being able to use my existing door to add the glass panels to, for more light. Highly recommend What a Pane.

I have ordered 3 decorative glass panels for my main entrance door from Murray one month ago. Murray came for measuring and quote. Today Murray came and install the glasses. They are so beautiful and the installation is perfect to fit into the frame. it means Murray is very professional and nice man. Now the door looks totally different, my son came to home after school, he almost cannot recognize his home as I did not tell him we will change the glasses. well done Murray. thanks

I recently had 4 glass inserts replaced - I must say it was a pleasure dealing with Barry and Murray.
They provided good insights, answered all my questions and provided a great product and install.
To boot, the glass came with a 10 year warranty.

We had the rest of our custom orders installed today by Barry in mid June, about 5 weeks after our initial order. All the pieces fitted fine and the install was relatively quick. It took 1.5 hours to install 6 pieces, including cleanup. Barry had left one of my pieces at the Vaughan warehouse and another crew rushed it over to our house. If it weren't for a new person coming in I wouldn't even know there was a hiccup. I like that Barry and his installer take time to remove the debris. We are left with not much else to do after the install but to admire our new windows. From the initial quote to finished product to install, the entire process in dealing with Barry and the What a Pane crew was quick, simple and pleasant. They delivered with good quality products and great customer service. I would highly recommend this company for sure!

I had my glass door inserts installed yesterday and they look beautiful. I have been speaking with Murray for a few months and he has been very helpful. He replied to emails within hours and was very informative and helpful. The project was done in 1 hour with no mess at all. Definately recommend this company.

Called What a pane spoke to Murray, nice guy came out on a sunday afternoon gave me a quote called him again came out 2 days later and did the job in an hour. My front doorway looks beautiful love it. I would recommend this company to my friends and family
