General Repairs & install window air conditioners

I've founds my go-to guy for handyman services. I found Paul on Home Stars and could not be happier. Paul promptly called me and fit me into his schedule. He called ahead of time to confirm & showed up exactly on time and with a full battery of tools and other helpful materials. He got right to work. Paul is a hard worker and did the tasks quickly. I had Paul do some carpentry repairs and install window air conditioners. He is a professional. Paul made sure they were safely and securely installed and also took the necessary steps to ensure they drained properly - he tested them before leaving and explained everything to me every step of the way to make sure I was 100% happy. As a single woman, you need someone like this on your speed dial. Thanks Paul for a job well done.

Miscellaneous Small Jobs

I initially called Paul to replace an air vent cover and shore up a closet shelf. He did both jobs, and some other small jobs that came up while he was there. Paul was great to deal with and did not hesitate when asked to complete more jobs then initially discussed. I was lucky to catch him on a weekend he was working. Paul arrived when he said he would and charged a fair price for his services. I would call him back anytime and will recommend him to my friends.

bathroom tiles, plumbing

The bathtub faucet was leaking badly. So Paul recommended that the entire faucet and showerhead be replaced. He had to knock through the wall tile and drywall to replace the faucet. The work was completed over 2 days and the quality of the job was quite good.

Removed Foam Ceiling Tiles

I called Paul to do several little jobs around the house. There was one particular job that was unpleasant where he had to pull down the foam tiles and insulation in the basement. That was a dusty job but Paul quickly finished without a complaint. He finished all the jobs in one hour. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul who is efficient and gets the work done right. Thanks Paul!

Installation: full-length mirror and rack on concrete; medicine cabinets and towel racks on drywall.

Excellent service. Pleasant and very accomodating. Paul ensured that the things that he attached to the walls will stay on the walls. Our questions were addressed satisfactorily . We will avail of his service again. Thanks again Paul.

Plaster Fix

While cleaning out my attic I put my foot through my plaster ceiling and made a nice 2ft by 2ft hole. Contacted Paul - several other companies never even called me back. Very courteous and professional and knowledgable. He came filled in the gap and after a day of drying came back to finish the job. Very good prices. He also gave me some great home management advice. Thanks Paul!!!

Decaying sump pit hose and pit lid, both requiring replacement

The hose for my basement sump pump had decayed, so that water was splashing out and not only not exiting the pit entirely but also rotting the pit lid. I have a physical problem preventing me from lifting anything as heavy as a sump pump or carrying and cutting new plywood etc. Paul came within 2 hours of my phone call; he was cheerful, efficient; I had the replacement hose but he went at once to get the plywood, and he then put up nobly with my hovering about to offer "advice" and cautions on solving the problem. We now have a working sump pit again--just in time for the next 2 days of heavy rainfall!
