Ardent Heating & Air Conditioning

I just purchased a new home and needed to add some upgrade to suit my family. I had a heater install in my garage as well as a humidifier for the house. The service was prompt the prices very reasonable they gave my expert advice on a few other projects I will be doing in the future. I would recommend ardent heating and air conditioning to anyone as I would call them again.

My freestanding fireplace stopped working,Ardent showed up quickly and determined the problem.Replacement was the best solution as the old one was no longer being made.the new one was installed quickly and well.this was all done new years eve saving us from an uncomfortable situation

Called very late on a Wednesday night (Thurs morning) and received a call back saying they would be here between 8 - 9:30 am. Showed up at 8:10 am and quickly found the problem. Needed to get a part and left me with a portable heater and said he would try and be back before 5:00 pm. Jason arrived around 3:00 pm and quickly had our heat on and everything was working well again. Courteous and professional. I would highly recommend!

Woke up to a cold house. Found Ardent on HomeStars. The friendly front office staff quickly dispatched a service tech. The service tech Steve quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Good service pure and simple with no surprises.

efficient, courteous, great prices, clean work, they installed the fireplace within 2 days of my initial call, they went the extra mile and properly insulated all the opening made in the wall.
even 3 years later when i sold the property, and my buyers made a big fuss with heir inspector about the location of the fireplace, the manager Jason was easy reach and quickly dealt with the buyers and educated the inspector on correct building code guidelines. so great after sales service.

We recently had Ardent heating replace our old funace with a new high efficiency one. At the same time we decided to have a ac installed in our home.. I would just like to say that from start to finish it was a great experience. How nobody likes to spend money on stuff like this but hey if you have to you want it to go well. Right off the strat we had 4 quotes all together. When Brent from Ardent showed up he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He has a very low pressure sales approach. This was a great releave because others made us feel well pressured and in a couple of cases angry at them. Ardent wasn't the cheapest quote but by far not the most expensive either. Maybe $300.00 more than the cheapest. When their staff came to install Steve and Gill were both very nice and in thier company uniforms.. When they entered our home they but on booties over their shoes and laid drop sheets all in their work area and the path they carried stuff in and out. it was great. When they were done they showed us the work they did and were very proud of thier own neat work and pointed out little details they fixed up to make it look more professional. A rare trait now days. They then showed us our manuals and spent oh 1/2c hour explaining evrything to us. They test ran the equipment then thanked us. Very pleasnt p[eople at Ardent. Use them they are grweat and will do right by you. Their staff are exceptionally trained not only technically but also in impeccable appearance and their friendly and knowledgeable interactions with customers. This company made me a customer for life when the manager personally took care of my air conditioner repair when the company was booked solid & did it on short notice when it broke down on the hottest summer day, I was threatened to have to cancel all my home-based business appointments for at least 4 days. Ardent also helped friends of mine on short notice many times in the past when nobody else would. I am always happy to recommend reliable companies that deserve it these days as they are so hard to find. For a Heating & Cooling company in Barrie, there is only one possible answer for me: ARDENT!

I had an older Amana furnace and this year when I turned on the AC the Recirculating fan stopped working. I called Ardent and a technician was at my home the same day to troubleshoot the problem. The problem was a faulty p.c. board and I was given the option of replacing the board or replacing the furnace. I chose to replace the furnace as mine was 15 plus years old.
Ardent's price was very competitive and I was really impressed with the installers. They were very professional and courteous. I have a unique layout in my basement and was told by another company the only route to vent the new high efficiency furnace was into my backyard through the deck. I asked the installers if there was another option and they ran the vent through my garage and out the side. A perfect solution!
I would recommend Ardent to anyone who wants honest, professional service at a fair price.
