Ardent Heating & Air Conditioning

For some reason we weren't getting the usual proper constant blend of warm water from our Navien. It has always worked really well for us, so we were mystified. Tim came and did some troubleshooting and determined that the issue was possibly a flow meter. He returned with a new one, quickly installed it and everything is back to normal. We appreciate the quality of both the staff and the work at Ardent. They always arrive as promised and are professional, friendly, and ensure they explain the work they are doing.

I called Ardent to come take a look at our furnace which was firing up but not blowing any hot air. Within a few minutes of them arriving they had an very good idea of what the problem was and started to work on it. Turns out needed a new part something a previous company who was out just 3 months earlier didn't spot during a clean and diagnostics. Needless to say Ardent repaired the Furnace and now we have air circulating throughout our home again. Their professional service, thorough diagnostics and courteous service make them our number one spot to call for Furnace Repairs in Barrie, Ontario.

Starting off, the call to Ardent was a great experience, the agent was extremely pleasant and concerned about my problem. She gave me a very quick appointment as I had no heat. The Ardent techs arrived on-time. They were professional in every way. They fixed my problem quickly and efficiently and impressed me a lot. I would highly recommend them as well as will be using them again for any HVAC needs.

My tenant notified me late Saturday night that the furnace had stopped working and that the property was freezing cold. This was extremely stressful as it was a weekend and I didn't know any HVAC companies in Barrie. I searched HomeStars and found great reviews for Ardent Heating so I thought I'd give them a try the next morning. Ardent Heating scheduled a service call within 2 hours after I contacted that so I was extremely happy as I wasn't expecting anyone to be able to help me so quickly. They arrived on time as promised and Jason was excellent. He identified the problem and explained everything to me so that I was comfortable in moving forward with the repairs. Ardent Heating is a great company and I will definitely be using them for any future HVAC needs for all my properties. Thanks Jason for your great work!!!

When I returned home on Dec.21st, I realized that I had no heat and that my furnace was not working. I called Ardent Heating as they had replaced my air conditioner two years ago. The service manager came within the hour and determined the cost of a new furnace. He left me with 3 heaters. On Dec. 23rd, they arrived at 8 am and installed my new furnace. Their service was prompt and efficient.

We had Ardent Heating come to one of our rental homes recently on a very cold weekend. The furnace had stopped working and the home was getting very chilly. Our tenant's son (who use to live in the area) works in the heating business & use to take care of these things for us, but now we had to find another means to help in case of any emergencies such as the one we had.
We spent some time calling around in the early morning hours however only two companies of the many 24/7 companies we called answered their phones and out of those two, Ardent was able to come out within 2 hours; the other company said they could get out in two days!!!
We needed heat right away so we chose Ardent Heating. They took a bit longer than two hours but the worker was nice enough to call us back and let us know he was going to be a bit late so that was okay. When the tech arrived he was extremely courteous, polite and very professional. He took the time to explain the repair to us that needed to be done and then proceeded with our permission of course.
We really feel that this company strives to please their customers and we were most definitely pleased! They even wore these little booties to protect our floors! Our former serviceman (the tenant's son) didn't even do that!
We highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a reliable and extremely professional company.

I purchased a century home last year and it's quite large in size. By the end of last winter, I noticed the furnace wasn't putting out the heat set on the thermostat. Today I woke up to a chilly 65 F although the thermostat was set to 70 F. At this point I called Ardent heating and cooling, spoke to reception and requested a service call to inspect and rectify the problem. The receptionist passed the phone off to Jason who was helpful and walked me through finding and replacing my old filter. My thermostat indicates my house is back at 70 F and the assistance Ardent provided didn't cost me a dime. Also, Jason emailed me an electronic copy of my owners manual for future reference. If I have any other issues with my furnace; I'll be calling Ardent again.

The technician (Tim) was on-time, professional in appearance and behaviour, explained various steps taken; he replace filters as needed; completed tankless water heater flush and furnace cleaning. He replaced the UV bulb in the Hepa filter, encountering some difficulty due to location within the unit. He wired the Hepa filter system to furnace in order for it to operate with furnace fan.

On 11NOV13, we had our ducts cleaned by Ardent. We have an old house that has been renovated a number of times and the dust seems to be a never ending issue and we have furry family members so we have to keep on top of keeping our furnace and duct system clean and in good repair. Over the years various companies have come to clean our duct system but from now on we will use Ardent. The two technicians that came were punctual, professional and friendly. They took great care in setting up for the task considering my animals that were in the home at the time. Once the job was complete, my home was left in a clean state, the bill was explained and a copy provided to me. It was great service! It seemed like they really cared that they were doing a good job!
