Hardwood floor installation, sanding and finishing

They installed the unfinished hardwood flooring we bought. They sanded and put four layers of finish (two oil and two water based)in 5 days (about 720 sq ft).
The problems:
1)They nailed on the top of the planks a full 13' row in the middle of the master where they changing tongue and groove direction. They also top nailed three rows at the walls. This is unacceptable where I come from. There should be no nail on top of hardwood.
2)If you're ok with nails on top, how about they don't fill them all...and the ones they fill is with a white filler on a red hardwood leaving white round spots.
3)They left an old nail and a 1" block of wood on the floor and put varnish over it.
4)At some spots, there was varnish missing and at others there were bubbles in the finish. And the layer of finish is very thin.
5)Along one 12' feet wall, the last row was not touching the other plank and had fell on its side.
After they thought they were finished, my husband showed the owner all those unacceptable things that had to be redone. He said he would redo all and fill all holes. He said he only had three colour fillers so could not match the wood colour. Well after another two days of work, the holes are not all filled...!!
I hope this review touches a lot of people. You should not have to go through such a bad experience when you want a brand new floor.
