Prior to our second home purchase, we wanted to ensure a very thorough and professional home inspection, since the inspection of our first home was anything but that. We got high recommendations from three unacquainted people to hire the single best home inspector out there and they all referred to Marco. Marco from Frontline was recommended to us by our realtor when we bought a new home in Oakville. He wasn't the 'cheapest' home inspector on the market, but we can certainly understand - in hindsight - why he was recommended. He took his time (a few hours) to do a thorough home inspection, pointed out the good and bad things (including things as small as water pressure when flushing toilets and running taps), and made solid recommendations. he also has been completely open to staying in touch afterward via email and phone - we have kept his contact information and contacted him several times for suggestions regarding home repairs and other home services. We first used Marco's services in 2004 and had no hesitation in calling him to inspect our next property as a condition of the purchase. Marco is highly qualified, experienced, knowledgeable and professional but he also has the knack of explaining things in layman's terms when needed. Marco is fantastic! He's professional, knowledgeable, very thorough and detail-oriented and a people person. He spent 3 hours on the inspection, checked everything, raised all the issues, big or small, risks, taught me on a lot of stuff (this is the first time I buy a sfh), gave me sugguestion on what to do to improve energy efficiency and stablize the basement, etc. He found along with some small issues that there's a crack on the basement with water leak and a crack on the part above hot water tank from where gas leaks to the basement. The sellers were using the basement as a gym and they were not aware there's gas leak in there. Never save money on your home inspection, it's great for your investment and health. No house is too new to be inspected. Small defect overlooked can do serious damage to our home/health.

We have sold and purchased many homes over the years and in most cases have been suspect of home inspections. Marco was the exception. He was extremely thorough, informative and helpful. I was referred to Frontline by a friend of the family and I'm so glad that we contacted them! The company is very professional and accommodating. We had our house inspection scheduled right away.
