Plumber came to replace my water shut off. He had to shut off the city water but his key was too short he also need a water pump as the hole was filled with water. He said the key works on MOST houses and sometimes they need a longer one and once in awhile the HOLE IS FILLED WITH WATER SOMETIMES and they need a pump. He wanted to reschedule which would mean another service call. I said no. He went to shop to get a longer key and a water pump. Got charged for the travel time. Got the bill June 16th and was charged for the driving time to get the proper tools. I called to voice my concerns and it took two emails and 9 days for someone to call me back. The man who called told me they only carry standard equipment. I tired to talk to him and asked If you know there is a possibility the key is deeper and that there may be water in the hole why not carry a long key that will work for everyone and a pump. He just kept repeating himself. So in other words they don't come prepared for something that they know is possible. He did take half hour off my bill I said thank you and was about to say more but he hung up on me.
