Smart Plumbing No Longer In Business

Smart plumbing did a great job working on our mechanical room.
Unfortunately they have mentioned their closing their doors.
Weve used them for many years and regret Loosing them as they know this building so well.

Mike came promptly at the agreed upon time. He was conscientious, neat, very professional and communicated well. He even leveled up the washer when all was done. We would use him again.

My shower drain was clogged. Mike came over the next morning to snake it and clear it. I think what I like most about Mike`s service ( I have used him 3 times) is that he explains procedures thoroughly so that the consumer understands and LEARNS new things...not to mention having the problem fixed! Mike is an extremely bright guy. I highly recommend this plumber.

I can't say enough about how pleased in am with Smart. He was very thorough in his questions, and was able to be here within 1 hr. There was no surprise. He was straight up about the fees, he was honest about the work he had to do. Showed me exactly where the problem was. He recommended what to do. I am clueless when it comes to this stuff and after asking some friends and researched on line ( while he worked )everything he said was right on point. He doesn't take credit cards, and I made the mistake of not asking, and can't even say how badly I feel, when I couldn't pay him his entire cost, which was so fair and so reasonable, for the work he conducted, but I e-mailed him later. He was very respectful of my home. Cleaned up. The gentleman that worked with him, seemed to very in sync with him and his direction. I will keep him as my go to plumber. I've used a few others, and they all, ALL have been horrible experiences! So happy I have Smart now!

The sump pump of the house I've bought wasn't working full tilt. With the melting snow and pending rain storm, the water level was dangerously high. I called Mike from Smart Plumbing and he showed up within an hour of my call!

He replaced the sump pump with a new and more powerful one, changed and re-routed the runoff piping. Problem solved!

I am most impressed with his concern for his customers. After diagnosing the problem, he was going to buy a new sump pump from the nearest Home Depot and install it. But he was concerned that there would be flooding while he was gone so he put in his own pump in the meantime. That's very considerate of him!

Home Depot ran out of the pump I wanted, and the one he bought was just as powerful but we both felt there was a design flaw with this pump (maybe that's why that pump wasn't sold out ). Mike was so experienced that he devised a way to work around that product design flaw. I am so glad he took his time to try out different ways of overcoming that flaw. That's a real pro who cares! Thanks Mike!

I called smart plumbing for my mother-in-law who needed to have the kitchen faucet replaced and to have new taps, spout, diverter and shower head replaced in the bathroom. Mike returned my called promptly, showed up on time and completed the work in a few hours. He explained what needed to be done and even replaced shut off valves at no cost. Replacing the old style faucets in the bath posed some difficulty but Mike was able to do it without damaging the wall and tile. He was friendly, efficient and I would definitely recommend him!

Mike was able to come within an hour. He was very polite and professional. Was able to help identify where the leakage is and also continuous small amt of water coming out was identified as water overflow in one of the toilet tanks upstairs. He fixed the leakage and tested the repair before leaving. Also, he is very honest. He lower the initial price agreed over the phone after his diagnosis on-site since the job was not as complex as he first thought based on my verbal description. THANK YOU, Mike!

Had basement toilet problems and called Smart Plumbing. Mike came the next day and after snaking the drain said the toilet is the most likely problem. He chose a perfect looking replacement and we were back in business in under 3 hours.
