Few years back I went to Lowes to buy a snow blower. When the snow came I was happy for about 5 min, before the tire fell off the rim. I called the store (I bought extended warranty) and they weren’t too cooperative. They tried to tell me that it is a tire issue and I should buy a new one because tires are not under warranty. After talking to 3 different people they sent me to a shop. Two weeks later (shop was busy this time of year and the only one I was given) I had my snow blower back. The next time I needed to use it the tire lasted another 5 min on the rim. The history repeated itself 5 times over the years. I spent $1000 on it and was still using a shovel. A couple weeks ago we had a really big snow storm, so I pulled my machine and was able to do 2 runs down the driveway before the tire fell, but this time when I called the store I heard that my warranty expired 3 months ago. Doesn’t matter that it was the first snow of the year and I couldn’t test it without the snow, that’s not their problem. It also doesn’t matter that it is a repeating problem. The warranty is over, I’m supposed to have a nice day and leave them alone.
I definitely will leave them alone as I will never shop there and I hope that this will be warning to other people. They are very quick to take your money, not so much to help you after even if you paid for it.
