Despite the price of a door with Centennial being much higher than all other quotes received, we went with them because of warranty and the professionalism of the sales person who came to our home. What a mistake. The door was installed on time but the job was shockingly bad. So many errors where to begin? No drop sheets or floor coverings put down and a mess was left inside and outside, a HOLE was drilled in the wrong spot on the door for the handle and poorly patched up, parts of trim wrong colour outside, 100 year old original woodwork butchered on the inside (and again patched up terribly), pencil marks left all over metal flashing, nail holes not filled, trim outside fit together terribly, workers left garage door open (never told me they opened it to begin with), had I not spotted this when I did our dog could have got out. so these issues were to be fixed. This was to occur 3 weeks after original install. At 9am when crews were to arrive I was called to be told the replacement door slab that was ordered was wrong. So no one knew until the minute they were due!? I was up with my baby, cat and dog both sent out for boarding all for nothing. Eventually a new install date was set. Same thing, dog and cat sent out for boarding and the crews were a no show again. This is now costing us money to keep boarding the animals, eating into my husbands work day driving the animals back and forth needlessly. Today FINALLY the replacement is happening. It started much later in the day than expected and to top it off the glass for the door was broken during the install. Its nearly 7pm, no word on when this will be done. This has been an absolute nightmare from beginning to NOW as I'm sitting in e quietest room of the house with my baby. The door was paid for on the original install day, no offer of a price adjustment has been made. Apologies are not getting the job done nor does anyone want to take responsibility for everything that has gone wrong. I would never recommend this company and regret the money and time wasted.
