Our house was not build according to OBCcheck everything. Tarion will not warranty poor workmanship. Worst financial decision you will ever make signing with this company. We have been in for a year and are just getting our roof framing deficiencies fixed now. We had to spend thousands of our own $ to get where we are now.more of our own $ to come. ( had to hire our own structural engineer to encourage RHH to acknowledge the structural issuesyet they still ignore engineer concerns about lateral framing )

Reids has failed us at every turn. They were 9 months late building the home with too many deficiencies to list. We called them out several times on building code violations. No one responds to emails in a timely manager and president or vps push the responses to customer service reps rather than responding themselves. After nearly 2 years we still cant use our full backyard due to drainage and dying grass as a result of poor grading and drainage. We would never ever recommend Reids as builder.

Very poor communication (no replies to emails and voice mail messages) and failure to correct mistakes they made on upgrades. We paid $7,000 to have tile instead of floor pan. They used white caulk on dark tile. Looks horrible. Then they completely left out the shower kit we paid $1,500 each for. And even when we pointed out the error, still failed to address the problem. Now we're two weeks from possession and can't get anyone to answer our questions about what we need to do prior to move in. Just a terrible experience the whole way. Buyer beware.

Have been waiting on Reid's for over two years, to build a townhome. To date - just a basement and 'stalled'. Communication with concierge (who are polite but non-committal) is horrid ' "don't call us, we'll call you" - only they don't. If this ever actually gets built, it will be 3 years from the date of purchase, and the realtor 'Stan' - promised, promised, promised that delays 'would never happen'. He- won't even answer e-mails anymore. I regret this purchase, more than I can say. Biggest mistake we've ever made. Mostly - we feel sick to our stomachs. Awful experience. Awful.

Reid's Heritage homes built our very first home, and we had great experience with them. We were pleased with the sales representative's advice and help through out the process. We had heard many horror stories, but the concerns that we were dreading, never arose. We were extremely pleased with the construction quality and their staff services.
