Do not hire these people. Brought them in to change our floor thermostat however they tell us we purchase the wrong one and proceeded to charge us $300.00 for this information and the general check they did on the breaker.

We now rely on 4 Star Electric as our first choice for any electrical work. We have used them now for a variety of projects in our older bungalow. These guys are a first class act. They present thorough,exceptionally courteous, and always present loving their work. They may cost a bit more than an individual electrician; but, from experience the quality they provide is worth it! We hired a private electrician to install a new fuse box. In end, we required 4 Star Electric to attend to correct and bring to code the inadequate install from the other electrician. We have used them 4 or 5x's now. We look forward to their return this week for a smaller install.

4Stars standard for service should be used as a benchmark for all other electrical, plumbing, etc, companies in Calgary. We were having electrical problems in our home and upon calling 4star with a sense of urgency they were able to send someone out the next day due to a previous cancellation. We had Luke showed up promptly in the morning and he did a full diagnostic of our electrical panel, he had to call Enmax out to repair our exterior line, and then he proceeded to answer all my concerns and requests with a Can-Do attitude. It's refreshing to encounter a company that understands the little things in customer service and over delivers on customers expectations, because it's seriously lacking in several services in Calgary! had brad from 4-star out a couple of times to our place to replace light fixtures, install new smoke detector/co2 detectors, and install a home surge protector. great guy, super knowledgeable, and did a very thorough job. will be using these guys for all our electrical needs.

I had a tree fall on my electrical line running to the rental house. I was away and 4 star electric dealt with all the repairs with absolutely no hassle. The renters found the workers very professional. Only thing is the price is no cheap

What a great outfit. From the moment you first call them until years after the job's been completed, you'll get customer service like others promise and seldom deliver. We have worked with them for years. Most recently they changed our 1000Amp CDP.
It was a 24 hour marathon with five electricians crammed into a 6 x 10 foot room. It all went off without a hitch and no extra charges. I think they should change their name to 5 star as that's the top rating!

Bryan from 4-Star Electric had come to our home to fix a bunch of plugs and lights that were not working and to install a couple of light fixtures. Bryan was very professional and managed to resolve are issue very efficiently. Overall we are very pleased with his service.

We'd used 4-Star before to repair damage from an electrical fire in our garage. In our new(er) home, we had them in to add electrical to our kitchen for a dishwasher and modify an exterior outlet. I was initially surprised to see a pricing binder but it was good to know that the price wouldn't change once quoted. The guys were friendly, made helpful suggestions, and did their work quickly & cleanly. You might be able to find the same service for less by hiring someone else but 4-Star can be counted on for a quality job.

After purchasing a foreclosure, we had a lot of renos/upgrades that needed to be completed. I found 4-Star in the BBB directory and had to use them twice. The first electrician they sent I was not happy with - his work was OK, but his attitude and demeanor were not professional. When I called 4-Star, they were quick to replace him with a different electrician, no questions asked. That said, the quality of the work from both electricians was exemplary and the second guy even recommended some things we could do to lower our electric bill.
