4 star electric was the only company among multiple electricians who listed 24 hr emergency service who called back after leaving a message with their operator. The service was fantastic and we would recommend them to others.

Recently we completed a kitchen renovation using multiple trades of which we have posted excellent reviews on home stars. After completely ripping out all of our existing kitchen realized we need to make a few minor adjustments to our electrical wiring. As it was time sensitive we called 4 star and amazingly they were available asap.( This is why I gave them the 1 star. )We required a new dishwasher circuit and the electrician used the existing garburator circuit as a junction box leaving approximately 5 ft of wire. We than required a separate circuit for an over the range microwave which the electrician than used the existing dishwasher circuit, fishing it to centre of wall( all 77 inches). He also removed the old microwave circuit from the panel which was no longer required. So 4 hours of work...(including approximately 1/2 hour calculating the invoice , a lot of upselling )and $930 later of which they claimed $268 (approx $160 above the actual cost)went to the city inspector . Brad the electricians only objective was to up sell rather than complete the work requested. Overall we feel we were hosed on this service especially after comparing the actual work completed with other reputable electricians and ,would highly recommend you Not Use This Company.

We had a short in our home. I had them come over to check it out and repair it. They discovered that we needed that circuit rewired and they also installed safety breakers. Excellent job, cleaned up when finished.

We have been working with this company for over a year now, doing an electrical upgrade of our entire house ( 3800 sq ft). We found them because they left a flyer at our door, 8 yrs ago. We have used them for several jobs. They are 100% reliable, flexible, organized and quick to respond when we call.

We found this company by hearing an ad on the radio. They came and did various electrical jobs through out our home. They did the work on time. Overall is was very good.

We purchased an older home, in no time we had to have the whole house rewired. They did a wonderful job. So when we had the flooding we didn't hesitate to call them back to fix the damage.
