When something seems to good to be true, it usually is, and in this case we should have known better. Countless promises broken, mislead over and over about deadlines, project was never finished and in the end they just abandoned the project leaving us with countless unfinished items or things that were not done the way we were told they would be done. If I were to go into detail about all we were promised and what didnt happen or what we are stuck living with now, this review would turn into a short novel. One of the other reviews on here is VERY similar to our experiencewish we had listened to what they said before giving this company $50k of our hard earned money that we had saved for this project.

Our patience and understanding was taken advantage of over and over again. We are still trying to get our project finished on our own. The emotional toll this took on us and the terrible stress was so detrimental to our lives. We were told in October 2020 that it would be done by that Christmasnothing started until July 2021 and continued on until they abandoned the project without telling us in March 2022. Im still losing sleep over how hurt and mislead this whole experience made us feel. Steer clear.

We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Interiors in Motion. Derek really listened to what our needs were and took the time to get to know our style preferences. The result is a beautiful and functional space that we love and will enjoy for years. On top of that, he was clear, organized, accessible, worked within our budget and always met deadlines. As a result, the process went smoothly and was surprisingly stress free. We would recommend Derek to anyone without hesitation

Saw an ad on google and called and spoke to Derek who is the owner. We set up an appointment and then he came into our house and measured the cabinets, discussed materials and gave us estimate fir our outdoor kitchen cabinet which the deadline was a 2 week timeline but he delivered in less than 6 days and he very well delivered more than we paid for and I say he is the best and recommend him to every one on google. Very nice friendly team with realist expectations and budget. Will come back with a few other upcoming projects. Thanks once again

We recently redid our kitchen and Derek at interiors in motion was very helpful. He designed the kitchen to our custom specifications and was able to accomodate some changes that we made during the process to add a second roll out spice rack. The quality of the work is incredibly good, better than we expected. Derek suggested we go to Olympia Tile for our backsplash and we were also very happy dealing with them. He also connected us with a granite fabricator since our supplier didn't do their own fabrication. We love our new kitchen!

They took the money and ran! We gave a deposit and then they would not answer their phone for months. We finally found them and they said they would show up to install. They did not show up or answer their phone. After doing this 3 times, we filed in court. Finally they showed up, convinced us to give them more money (stupid of us to be so niave) then left and disappeared again. Police were involved for one of their random appearances. The whole process took about 7 months and we still did not have a complete kitchen. We hired another company to finish the job.

A 3-week small(6'x10')washroom renovation dragged into a HELLISH FOURTH MONTH. This person MADE ARBITRARY DESIGN MODIFICATIONS WITHOUT ASKING (eliminated crucial pocket door because he had mismeasured; installed wrong window; failed to locate plumbing as agreed; refused to match door and window moldings). Faucets so far from sinks that the countertop flooded; sinks installed 6 times, 4 showerglasses; 3 door mirrors. Walls painted 3 times, still don't match & something is scribbled on one of them. Unprofessional and sloppy. He misrepresented the pace of the work (after 5 wks the project should have been long-completed, but there wasn't even a toilet), size of "the team" and level of cooperation . The fact that he was often a no-show was secondary to the problems that arose when he actually was on-site.
We paid top dollar - much of it upfront - for what turned out to be an amateurish learning curve for Interiors In Motion.
