one time review

I hired this company to clean the ducts of a home we just purchased. I explained the ducts had not been cleaned in probably 30 years. There was two gentlemen who showed up on time (8am). One of them proceeded to try to sell us a furnace filter for $150.00 and then reduced it to $100.00. He then tried to talk us into a 5 minute vacuum of our furnace for $90 cash on the side and $75 cash on the side for the air-conditioned. I wonder if his boss knows/?? While he was doing this, the other gentlemen started to clean the ducts. Unfortunately, he had the machine "in reverse" and it blew all the dust and contents of the ducts back into our house. 30 years of dust......black clouds!!! Even though he saw it, he continued to run the machine. I admit, I may have said some colourful words however.......long story short, Dave, the owner, has still not bothered to return my call! It took 6 people 8 hours to remove their mess......I am sure they will respond to this and say it was our "ducts" fault!!! Typical poor business person!

They took the money and ran! We gave a deposit and then they would not answer their phone for months. We finally found them and they said they would show up to install. They did not show up or answer their phone. After doing this 3 times, we filed in court. Finally they showed up, convinced us to give them more money (stupid of us to be so niave) then left and disappeared again. Police were involved for one of their random appearances. The whole process took about 7 months and we still did not have a complete kitchen. We hired another company to finish the job.

This was the worst experience with a builder. They brag about their energy saving yet forgot to insulate 2 different walls. Until the water leaked in the bathroom and forced them to look at the wall, they refused to acknowledge any wrong doing. In repairing it (after months of begging and pleading and being called a liar about the lack of insulation) they did come in and put in insulation. They ruined our front carpet and would not repair it, they left the walls a mess, and would not repair it and they did not return any calls after. PATHETIC!!!!!
