Our washer was not spinning. After paying Global for parts and labour, we immediately reported that the issue remained unresolved. The company would not respond to our calls and email. Do not recommend.

Dishwasher broke down leaking water. Technician came promptly and fixed issue within hours at reasonable cost. Saved me cost of purchasing new one. They also came on weekend which was amazing

My washing machine was not going through the full cycle and would stop at the "wash". It also would not drain. The gentleman came within 2 hrs of my calling to request someone and reviewed the issue, explained what was wrong, provided the costing, requested whether I wanted to proceed and was great about making sure it worked. He was extremely polite, friendly and honest about what was wrong. Will definitely continue to use their services going forward and recommend them to others, he was wonderful!

I would not hesitate to recommend this firm. Very polite, prompt, competent. And VERY reasonable price...I guess I had a relatively simple repair, and the price reflected that. Will use them next time.

I had a problem with my fridge and was referred to this company by a friend. I was very happy with their service. A part had to be replaced. The price was very reasonable and technician was polite.

A warning to anyone looking for someone to repair any major appliances in thier home - DO NOT USE this company.

Last week we had a repair man from the company come and and "fix" our leaking washing machine. My husband watched him as he removed the front of the washer and found that the hose had come loose on the interior of the machine. He proceeded to put the hose back in and replace the cover of the washer. He was genorous enough to tell my husand he was only going to charge him $80.00 for the repair since nothing major had been done. He paid him and he left.

My husband went down and put a load into the machine. When he came down to get it when it was done, he found a bit of leakage that indicated the hose had come loose again. Since he had watched the repair man he knew now how to fix it this time. He got his tools out and removed the front of the washer. He did not have to hunt around for the hose as the repair man had left his flashlight on inside the washer pointing directly at the spot where the hose connects. He fixed it, removed the flashlight and proceeded with another load.

Well this was being done, the "repair man" called looking for his flashlight. He said he would be back in about 20 minutes to get it. My husband went down to get out the 2nd load and to his shock and horror the hose had come completely loose and our ENTIRE basement was filled with ankle deep water!!!!!! This is no exaggeration - it had filled every corner of the basement because teh washer never got full and shut off!!!! The man retuned a this point and I sent him around back to deal with my husband who was now vacumming out all of the water.

He went around back and looked shocked at what he saw. He told my husband the hose would need to be replaced altogether, shrugged his shoulders and left. He called 6 times the next day (during office hours) and never left a contact number to reach him back.

I finaly spoke with him tody and recieved a very chilly reception. He was angry with me that he had to call me 6 times and that his contact number was down on my machine. I told him I was not paying anything addtional for the repair because of the flooding and hours my husband spent cleaning it up. And I reminded him he was lucky our basement was not finished or else we would be taking action against him and the company for any damages to drywall and flooring. He refused to listen to me, told me I had to pay for the part and when I refused he hung up on me.

So all I have to show for my $80 is a flashlight, a flooded basement and a washing machine that is still broken.............

Our dishwasher broke on a Saturday and Global Appliance was the only company that was able to come the same day. Unfortunately the repairman did not have the part on hand to repair it right away but he returned promptly on the Monday with the right part and quickly and efficiently repaired the dishwasher. I would use this company again for appliance repair and would recommend it to friends and family.

Called Global to get an estimate on repairing a Frigidaire double wall oven. The technician came, took the oven apart and told me it needed a new "computer" - was going to get back to me in a few days. 4 days later called to tell me it would cost me $500 (plus tax) to repair the oven. I told him that sounded a bit steep. Called Frigidaire to ask for an authorized service technician to come out and look at it; at that point, I knew Global was overpricing on the repair so I was willing to pay someone else the service call to look at it. Turns out, there was no part to be replaced; only repaired. It cost me under $200 in total!!!!! Consumers beware....companies like Global will rip you off if they think they can get away with it; sometimes it's worth getting a second opinion. The mistake of going with Global for the repair could have cost me an extra $300.

Moved into a house and fridge died few weeks in. Called and got an appt the next day was told to clean out fridge. Techician showed up on time and was surprised i had not defrosted the fridge over night but was never told to. Did some initial tests and was told he would come back the following day once the fridge was defrosted. Came back the next day again on time and found the problem and repaired the fridge. Price seemed pretty fair but was not itemized. Just one price plus taxes. Would have liked an itemized breakdown of parts and labour.
