NEW 7.5 CUBIC FEET - WHITE DANBY FRIDGE
I WENT TO THIS STORE LOOKING FOR A SMALL FRIDGE AS THE ONE I PURCHASED AT HOME DEPOT A YEAR AGO DIED. AS I GOT IN, THERE WAS A SALESMAN, ASKED FOR ONE AND WE FOUND A 7.5 DANBY ON THEIR WEBSITE, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY COULD NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY, IT MAY HAVE TAKEN 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS, AND I NEEDED SOMETHING A.S.A.P. ASKED THIS GENTLEMAN IF HE COULD CALL WAREHOUSE OR DO SOMETHING, HE SAID HE COULD NOT. THEN, HE DISSAPEARED ON ME. I WAS FRUSTRATED, THEN ASKED ANOTHER SALES AGENT, HE ASKED ME WHICH ONE I WANTED, SAME STORY, ASKED HIM AGAIN, HE TOLD ME HE COULD NOT DO ANYTHING.
AS I WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE I SAW A 3RD AGENT, HIS NAME WAS ANGELO MOTOULAS, AND ASKED HIM FOR HELP, HE WAS BUSY, SO HE TOLD ME TO GIVE HIM A MINUTE. CAME BACK TO HIM AND WAS WITH SOME CUSTOMERS, HE SAW ME ABOUT TO LEAVE AND TOLD HIM TO WAIT THAT HE WILL LOOK AFTER ME. FINALLY, I SAT DOWN WITH ANGELO, HE WAS VERY PLEASANT, AND IN 1 MINUTE, HE FOUND ME A CHEAPER COLOR WHITE UNITO OF THE SAME MODEL I WANTED, HE EVEN TOLD ME THEY COULD DELIVER IN 2 DAYS OR I COULD GO PICK IT UP AT THEIR ETOBICOKE LOCATION (DIXIE AND 401), THAT EASY !!! IN 2 MINUTES I HAD SECURED THE ORDER AND WAS GIVEN A DELIVERY DATE FOR SAME WEEK THURSDAY.
THE OTHER AGENTS COULD HAVE DONE THE SAME IF THEY WANTED OR KNEW, BUT THEY WERE JUST TOO BUSY, OR DID NOT CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER. LEFT STORE AND 10 MINUTES AFTER, ANGELO CALLED ME, BY SECURING THE ORDER FAST, SYSTEM FORGOT TO CHARGE DELIVERY CHARGE OF ABOUT $ 59.00 + HST, SO ORDER COULD NOT BE DELIVERED, HE QUICKLY TOLD ME HE COULD TAKE CARE OF IT AND CHARGE IT ON MY CREDIT CAR OR I COULD JUST GO PICK IT UP MYSELF AND SAVE SOME $$$.
PUT ADDRESS ON MY GPS & THEIR WAREHOUSE WAS 15 MNS AWAY, DROVE THEIR WITH MY FRIEND WHO WAS WITH ME AND PICKED IT UP VERY EASILY. SO EVEN WHEN ANGELO MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN SOMETHING, HE WAS READY TO FIX IT, AND HIS SUGGESTION TO PICK IT UP, MEANT ME HAVING MY FRIDGE AT MY HOUSE SAME MONDAY AFTERNOON INSTEAD OF THURSDAY & SAVE $ $ ON DELIVERY CHARGE.
I SEE THAT THIS COMPANY HAS SOME BAD REVIEWS BY OTHER PEOPLE, BUT IS JUST WHO YOU GET, SOME SALES GUYS DO NOT CARE, NOT SURE WHY ? BUT ANGELO MADE MY DAY, AND I ENDED UP SPENDING ALMOST $ 500 WITH THIS COMPANY, (FIDGE ABOUT $ 351) BUT WENT WITH AN EXTRA 4 YEAR PARTS & LABOUR WARRANTY, SO MY FRIDGE IS NOW COVERED 5 YRS TOTAL. IF YOU GO TO C.A.S. @ DUFFLAW LOCATION, LOOK FOR ANGELO, HE IS POSITIVE, DOES NOT LOOK TIRED OR BORED & THINKS ABOUT HELPING THE CUSTOMER WHATEVER IT TAKES. IF I EVER NEED AN APPLIANCE, I KNOW WHOM I NEED TO TALK TO.
