Fireplace Depot

When I went into the showroom Riz was very knowledgeable. I had my gas fireplace installed in June, last year, while doing other livingroom renos. When I turned it on in September it didn't light up all the way and the remote didn't work. When I went into the showroom and talked to Riz he offered a service call but would charge me $150!! Needing to fix the problem I agreed. It's been 3 days now and I still haven't heard from him. My husband went back to the showroom and spoke to Ruiz directly as well. Since then, I've called several times with a promise of a dame day set up for a service call. When I called another fireplace store the person on the other end of the phone told me that FPD has a reputation in the business for being really bad at after sales service. I wish I had known before I bought. Stuck with a non-functioning, brand new fireplace that cost me $5,000!!!!
