Howie installed a pool for me. He undersized the piping for the amount of water movement needed to adequately control my features and now it is under concrete and not able to be corrected. He installed a main brain unit that did not have enough outputs to operate the amount of features that are installed. He installed a used cover system that was never registered to me with the manufacturer(that I paid 15K for assuming it was new). The cover has been a non-stop issue since day one. The pool has been unavailable for use a large number of times in its short three year life and the rope to open it has had to be replaced 5 times in 3 years. Howie installed pentair bubbler lights which both died the first year and I had to buy them again because he would not warranty them the following season. He installed two different manufacturers of lighting equipment(Pentair/Hayward and then when I asked why the lights don't work properly together he told me I'm the first client that expected his lights to match up and function in the same color patterns. Now the pool cover motor has died and he has told me that the supplier of it will not even look at it because I hired a pool cover service company to change a broken rope when I couldn't reach Howie. After some investigation the cover system that he installed wasn't even a product Howies supplier even supplied anymore, so Howie just bought some discount unit that someone else had had and passed it off as my new system by adding a new physical cover material.
If you plan on enjoying a pool go to another installer because you will be very disappointed in the product you get at the end.
