Upate: After talking to sales manager and reviewing pricing, it is quite possible that I thought were were discussing a different unit that I had thought at the time as we were jumping around some. Based on reputation and so few complaints, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
The low rating is a starting point. Logged a call with Francis today (Sept 19) about this issue. We were charged for a Lennox variable speed central air unit. The purchase was rushed as the price quoted was only good for installing this week. Once we started using the unit, I didn't feel it was operating like a variable speed unit. I checked the model number and looked it up on Lennox website and it is a single stage unit which he quoted a price of $4,000 after incentives. The price he quoted for the variable speed unit was $7,000. Quite a difference between the two. Our invoice is for $7,900.
I will update this as required once Francis responds and see how that goes.
I have to say everyone was very professional on site, replaced the original wiring, pipe etc. Clean work area when they left.
