I used this company 4 years ago to install my Trane AC and have been calling them 2 times a year to service my AC, Furnace and HRV units. They charge more than most companies and have gradually increased their pricing over the years, but they did a decent job installing the unit, so I felt comfortable calling them back. On August 10, my AC stopped working so I called for a service visit. They attended and advised *NOTHING* was wrong with the unit. The next day, the noises heard continued so I called them back and advised Bruce the AC is not working, my house is at 27 degrees and that they need to attend as nothing was fixed yesterday even though i was charged $124 for a service visit. His response - give it 24 hours, and we can reschedule a time for next week…… Given the temp in my house, I had to call another company. They attended promptly and only charged $60 for a service visit. Right away the service technician was able to pinpoint that the blower fan was non-functional, and that if the unit was actually tested, Econo-Air would have found this. This is unacceptable, and I would not recommend them to anyone anymore. Especially after pleading with them to please return and fix what they were initially called for and was given attitude and no apology whatsoever rather told nothing was ever wrong with my unit in the first place. disappointed, and a lost 4 year service customer
