When we met with Freddy we were very impressed as he talked about how he would tile our kitchen floor, which was the first part of our complete kitchen renovation. Unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. First, he indicated that he would remove the existing threshold between the kitchen and family room and level the floors between the 2 rooms. Unfortunately he did not level the 2 floors and not only is there a step up into the kitchen, the gap from one end of the threshold and the floor to the other end (10 feet long threshold) increases. At one end of the threshold, the gap to the floor is 1/4" and at the other end the gap to the floor is 7/8". The second issue was that the amount of tile needed for the job was miscalculated. There wasn't adequate tile to complete the job and have a few spare in case of accident. As luck would have it, the tile has been discontinued, so we are out of luck. The third issue was that in a few places, the tile by the wall was cut short, so even when the shoe moulding was placed back it didn't cover the gap in tile. Lastly,when Freddy promised to return to fix the problems, he failed to turn up and never bothered to call to reschedule. When he finally contacted us by email 4 days later, he made no attempt to rectify the issues and denied any responsibility.
