These guys were fast at responding to my inquiries.
They asked me to email them pictures of the skylights that needed
to be replaced for a more accurate quote. Then followed up with an actual on-site inspection of my carport.

I also had other companies quote on the job but they quoted too
high over the phone without even seeing what they were going to be working with.

I had a couple of conversations with Denis regarding the right skylight that I wanted. Denis was very thorough in finding the right skylight that suited my needs.

Overall I'm extremely happy with the installation. I will use them again in the future when I decide to get a Sun Tunnel installed.

One morning in October, after a tremendous rain storm, I discovered that one of my skylights was leaking. What a mess! I started reading reviews on HomeStars and discovered Skylights Unlimited Inc. I called and arranged for quotes from 3 different skylight companies and was quite surprised when the owner of Skylights Unlimited Inc., Denis Charron, arrived at the house. Denis spent far more time than the other 2 companies and carefully examined the skylight and explained that, because of the house settling over the 15 years since the skylights were last replaced, the seal had broken and any 'repair' would be makeshift at best. He drew diagrams to explain how and why the skylight should be replaced and suggested that it was only a matter of time before another skylight, a metre away, would fail as well. The next day he e-mailed me a very competitive quote and I decided to use them for the new skylights.

I am enormously pleased with the job that was done. The crew, Jeff and Kevin, were a pleasure to work with: professional, knowledgeable, personable, patient and very skilled. They ran into an unexpected problem because of the roof construction which could have meant tearing out the plywood boxes. A less competent crew would have simply torn out the boxes and left me with the mess and expense of replacing them but Jeff and Kevin managed to solve the problem without damaging the boxes. A neighbour who was a finalist for the "Canada's Best Handyman" television show 'dropped by' halfway through the work and said they were doing an outstanding job. They worked from 9:15 until after 6:00, cleaned up every bit of debris and even swept the driveway and the front porch.

Yet another 10 out of 10. A job extremely well done! I would recommend Skylights Unlimited Inc. without reservation.

Skylights Unlimited was very professional and they were very knowledgeable. They inspected my old skylight at no charge, told me what work was needed to be performed on the phone, scheduled the time of installation and after authorization went and performed the work, seamlessly. I came home and I had a new high efficiency skylight. No worries, no fuss.

As the maintenance manager for a 300,000 sqft enclosed shopping mall located in the eastern ontario region of canada I had occasion to utilize the services of this company.The mission was to resolve water leaks in a large sporting goods store emanating from 2 large 20 ftx20ft pyramid skylights.After discussion over the phone it was indicated that there was an issue with sealing of the thermopanes.The crew repaired the problem and to this date approx 6mos later I have had no more problems from this area.
As the size and scope of the work was outside the usual norm for this company,I am impressed by the work and professionalism shown by the staff.I would highly recommend this company to anyone else needing repairs residential or commercial.

Skylights Unlimited was the most professional of the many companies I contacted off the internet. They came when they said they would, gave a reasonable estimate and start time, and worked with me as I changed the scope of the project to include replacing the water-damaged portion of a stipple ceiling as well as repairing the roof and replacing the skylight that had caused the water damage in the first place.

Even more impressive were the two workers who did the actual work. Did their work when they said they would, finished on time, and had minimal intrusion into my home. They even moved the protective plastic sheeting they'd set up when I had a major appliance delivered through their work area, and took pictures to show me the extent of the damage and the nature of the repair.

All the staff acted very professionally, something I don't see very often these days: polite, helpful, nice people.

Most importantly, their work is top-notch. Can't see where the ceiling was patched, and the new skylight and repaired section of roof is great. No surprises on the cost, and they finished when they said they would.
