Our Skylight was 30 years old, but our roof had recently been replaced. When the window well around the skylight started to leak and our roofers came and patched the problem, we knew we needed a Team with experience to properly assess our situation and provide us with a reasonable, affordable option for a permanent fix. These folks were pros - they were polite, professional, easy to deal with and the work was top end. While we don't always look at it, we know our new Window is a great fit for our home, and that the installation was second to none.

The job required entry to the attic, close measurements to cut out a hole in the roof and installing the skylight, with a chase and painting on a stucco finish to match existing surroundings. Accurate measurements are critical to the work.
The job was completed on time, and as specified, clean-up followed.
The crew and office staff were professional and courteous. I'd recommend their work to an interested person.

The project involved replacing an old skylight that was leaking, with a follow-up visit to repair drywall.

Last month we had the final 5 of 7 skylights replaced by Skylights Unlimited. It was a big job because we wanted to replace some very old, oversized skylights with more energy efficient and smaller standard sized Velux skylights.

Dennis to the rescue. He recommended the appropriate sizes and features for the spaces I had. I chose blackout blinds for the bedroom skylight (i'm finally sleeping well!), light filtering blinds for the family room/kitchen and one opener. (I wish I listened to Dennis and got an opener for upstairs too to help with air flow.)

The install went very well. The workers were very respectful of my house and kept areas clean. They had to make the skylight opening smaller by adding in roofing/bulkhead/insulation/drywall/taping and they primed as well. The work was very neatly done.

When I thought they were done, Dennis reviewed the pictures they took and then sent the guys back to make some final touches. Their attention to detail was very appreciated.

From the initial quotation to the scheduling and instal this was a very professional and thorough experience. The crew cared about their work and answered my questions and properly set up the remote controllers. Cleanup was thorough. I am very happy with the entire experience.

This company came highly reccomended and our old skylights had wooden frames and were rotting. Brady came by and assessed the situation, very professionally, and provided a summary of what needed to be done and once we decided to proceed the crew that came finished the job as agreed and left the everything to our complete satisfaction.

From the first call to the completed job, Skylights Unlimited was a pleasure to deal with. They were professional, understood my needs and well priced. The work was completed when promised and the job looks great. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to do skylight work.

Contracted with Skylights Unlimited for the install of a skylight. Appointment process, quotation and scheduling the install were very smooth. Crew showed up on time and got the work done over three days (plus two days over the weekend where the scaffolding remained). Overall, the crew was great, with a tendency towards colourful language due to the difficult nature of the installation. I gave them an 8/10 mostly due to the fact that some of the evidence of their installation remains such as pencil marks on the walls where they cutout the openings (which of course, I cannot reach),
some type of liquid spill remains on the same wall, and a damaged stair tread where their scaffolding was resting. I received an email from them asking me to write a review and I wrote back saying I would mention all the defects, or they could come back and correct
them after which I would write my review. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them, and the damage to the stair tread can't really be sanded down easily without really affecting the look, so now I'm left with trying to figure out how to replace a single tread.
If they contact me and fix the damage, I'll happily upgrade my review to a 10/10.

Update: true to his reputation, Denis came by to review the work and managed to fix my issues where he could, and where it didn't make sense for him to try to repair, we agreed he would help me out on my next piece of work with him.
