John did a wonderful job on the installation of some drywall in my basement. The drywall was absolutely paint-ready following his work. I particularly appreciated that John went above and beyond to recommend additional decorative trim to complete the finished look. John is very courteous, friendly and professional. We wanted to update the living room in our 1960's home and knew that John Purkiss was promoting his decorative drywall features. So, we called on him to work his magic. Our room is small and we wanted a more modern look for the crown moulding. He ended up applying a California texture to the ceilings and a stretch and step crown moulding around the entire room. People can't believe the difference it's made in our room, and neither can we. It's beautiful! And it goes without saying that John is a great guy.

We had John and his staff complete the drywall in our basement.
We are thrilled with the quality of his workmanship as well as the care taken by him and his staff while working in our existing home.
John explained that when he was finished, that it would be "paint ready" - and it truly was!. Our painter was thrilled with the quality of workmanship by John and the area was left clean and ready to paint.

Orillia Drywall did amazing work in our office. They pulled down the ugly old panelling and put up new wall board. But they didn't stop there. The textured ceiling and beautiful crown moulding transformed the space into something truly beautiful. We love it so much we want to have him come back to do the rest of the house.

I have had the privilege of using Orillia Drywall's services a few times over the years and have been amazed at the professionalism and quality of work that is done. I have never seen a joint line or blemish when John is done. I even decided to board a room myself once which left less than perfect joint, which was not a problem for John. When he was done taping and mudding, my boarding job looked like it was done by a professional, which I am not! I also had John texture a ceiling and he gave some ideas that really finished it off. He really has an eye for detail. With a lot of fly-by-nighters and poor quality dry wallers out their, it's good to know that there are people like John from Orillia Drywall to give us the quality we desire.
