Michael is friendly, conveys confidence and is knowledgeable about his craft. He provided a detailed description of the work to be completed and materials to be used, including type of paint, prepping of the walls and ceilings. We had a water leak in the kitchen ceiling that required repair, plastering and sanding. The affected area is totally unnoticeable, now. His attention to detail is amazing.
Work was completed in a timely manner despite a slight glitch. The colour I initially chose for one of the rooms didn't work as well as I thought it might. After some of the paint colour was applied and I viewed the wall, I was unhappy with my decision. I consulted with Michael; he suggested another colour, that I agreed upon. He repainted the walls and I was very pleased with the result. Michael's understanding of colour and lighting is impressive.

What sets Court-Hampton Painting apart is the depth of knowledge of colour that its owner Michael gained by studying the composition of colour in Sweden and in England. This enabled him to not only assist us in the choice of colours, but he had the ability to make compositional changes and to translate paint colours into acrylic spray for cabinetry. The company was highly organized with immediate responsiveness to communication. We even had our own YouTube video of the test painting. In addition the owner was the most highly perfectionist of all the tradesmen I've ever used in 60 years, and exhibited pride in his accomplishment. Overall, this was an enormously satisfying experience.

Court-Hampton painting was wonderful to work with when painting and updating a new home purchase on a tight schedule prior to moving in. Michael worked with me to establish paint colours and finishes, provided insight on how to reduce costs, and made sure I was happy and informed throughout the multi-week project.

Our mother passed away and we wanted to spruce up her house for sale. It had old wallpaper and we wanted to give it a fresh new look. Michael and his crew came in and removed the old wallpaper and applied new paint. It went from an old house to a bright and beautiful one thanks to their work.
