Briefly I had a problem with no heat from furnace Feb 20/17. Gandy sent 2 techs, however neither one seemed to know what they were doing. They thought it was a thermostat problem, and wasted 20 minutes checking it and blaming the battery (the battery was fine). Finally they found the problem, same problem as our previous call, tube blocked with debris. I understand why they sent 2 techs, one to hold the cell phone and one to fix the furnace (neither one had brought a flashlight.
Mar 23/17 same problem with no heat. After speaking to Gandy, I decided to hire a different company. What a difference! Same problem, tube blocked with debris. However only $104 to fix and problem fixed in less than 1/2 hour.
Not impressed at all with Gandy charges and work performed.

Hi Mike, our apologies that you were not left confident enough to use our services for the second failure, resulting in you having to pay for what would have been a warranty service call. Sometimes when we arrive at a malfunctioning furnace that is not displaying an error code, it takes a little more investigation to get to the root of the problem, however, if the technician that returned was able to catch it before the error code was reset, it would have been much easier to rectify. If you are having continued issues with that port plugging up, we would strongly recommend replacing the unit's collector box to avoid this issue happening in the future. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience.
