In having one wall of my basement waterproofed by Basement Technologies, I found the work to be adequate but dealing with any problems to be difficult. The owner was very easy to find when asking for a quote and signing a contract, but difficult to reach after that. Workers never showed up when they were expected, and no idea as to when they would arrive. They would show around 3 and leave within an hour, with nothing done. Machinery that would have expedited the job wasn't brought to the house, and debris and tools were left scattered on my property at the end of the day. At the end of the job, I still had issues with a sump pump that had pipes not sealed properly and the owner was very difficult to find and get anyone out to correct the issue. Several two by fours were left up over the area and no one ever retrieved them.

- Address issues quickly with your customers. Make it easier for them to contact you. don;t overbook your jobs and make sure your workers show up within 2 hours of your stated start time. Remind them to take their tools at the end of the day, as homeowners are not responsible if they get stolen.
