Where to begin.
This company was hired to restore our condominium after a water leak inside the walls. My toilet was completely non-functional and It took more than a week just to get a response from them, which only happened after I had sent an email to them, the landlord and the property management board as well. After that another week went by with no contact from them. They only ever seemed to respond after I'd contacted the condo board to let them know Prostar wasn't answering my calls/emails.
The whole job was catastrophic, plagued with delays and accidents and the job took several months longer than anyone expected. I mean this job last for nearly half a year and most of it spent with the "restoration" company nowhere to be seen.
At one point in time they asked me to vacate my house for four days, of course they gave me less than a days notice but I did it none the less. Four days later I contacted them asking if I was able to return home. They told me the contractor forgot to ask for my house key and they hadn't even begun working on it.
I gave them the key and four days later I contacted them again and they told me it would take at least a week more. It didn't, it took nearly eleven days and each day I had to contact them personally to see if my condo was inhabitable again, they never once went out of their way to let me know how progress was going at all.
The job lasted for so long half the tenants were in an uproar, it quickly became apparent this company was incredibly mismanaged and unprepared.
To top it all off, in the end they installed numerous wrong and didn't even install handles on my bathroom cabinets. Naturally they responded to my inquiries rudely and dismissively.
It's been months later and I'm still working to fix the 'repairs' they did.
NOTE TO HOMEOWNERS OUT THERE: Do not use this company! They were extremely incompetent and unprofessional, any criticisms myself and the other tenants had were met with hostility and rudeness.
