We built our home with Sheldon in 1990. It was a great experience as Sheldon helped us build the house we wanted. Even after 32 years we are still happy with our home and look back at our building experience with Sheldon as a happy period in our lives. He bent backwards to make sure we were happy with each step in the process. We regard Sheldon as a friend today and thank him for the experience. On budget, on time and great product and still friends. What more can you ask for.

We are continually impressed with Sheldons excellent work and dedication to his projects. Over a period of 30 years we have hired Sheldon Homes to renovate our beautiful ranch-style bungalow built in the 60s.

Sheldon had a vision of what he perceived for our home and the results have been stunning! Our favourite renovation is our kitchen and four season sun room designed by Sheldon, his creativity is a hallmark of his work. He patiently guided us in all of our decisions always keeping in mind our traditional taste. He searched to find unique light fixtures, special hardware and took loving care of every detail. Sheldon is a professional builder with a reputation for quality work.

Having had the privilege of having Sheldon homes build a custom home for me ., as well as renovate my most recent residence I can say with true conviction that Sheldon homes has always has provided me with utmost in design ., quality and service and the final product has always met and far exceeded my expectations, I would highly recommend this master builder too anyone wishing too achieve an exceptional home building or renovating experience!

We have done 3 projects with Sheldon Homes over the past 30 years.
Two house builds and a large detached Muskoka Room.
Sheldon helped guide us picking all aspects of the builds, he is very focused on all aspects of the projects.
All work was done to excellent specifications.

Sheldon's renovation of our basement has transformed it from a frumpy, boring white stucco nothing into a beautiful, informal area for relaxing and entertaining . This space brings together a wonderful blend of contemporary and historic perspectives. We love it! It features insulated stone walls, about 6" thick, imaginatively and expertly laid over original stone walls that were built in 1860. Elegant bookshelves line one wall; a 250-bottle wine rack fills another wall. Ceiling beams enhance the spaciousness.
We are delighted with the results of this project!

Sheldon Homes came to our attention via some very good friends who raved about working with Sheldon to build a large studio. We were so impressed that Sheldon Homes was our first choice to renovate and add an addition to our 100-year-old cottage on the lake.
With Sheldon Homes, we were able to find creative solutions to the Pandora's box that is renovating an old home. He was attentive and brought with him some excellent trades. We are very pleased with the results.

I can't stop raving about my experience working with Sheldon Sulman of Sheldon Homes! I never thought a renovation could be FUN, but Sheldon made it so. He is a very creative guy, with a terrific sense of humour, enormous energy, and incredible knowledge and skill.

He came in everyday to monitor the work of the trades, kept everyone to a strict timeline, gave me detail projected costs and came in under!

The result is spectacular. I'm so proud of my home now and enjoying it thoroughly. Thank you, Sheldon!

Wonderful vision, but 6weeks turned into 13 weeks. Lack of information about what was going on. When confronted with facts about unreasonable delay, lost temper, swearing, etc. Get EVERYTHING -ESP. Time frame - in written contract up front.
